The socks arrive with a card to give you some explanation of the goodies! I’m already immediately in love with this subscription based on the excellent use of puns in the card. “So glad you ‘pricked’ us”? Oh, I am too, Say It With A Sock!
Geometric Socks
This sweet pair gives me some major ‘90’s nostalgia! The bright pink-and-orange combo is tempered just a bit with the white accents, and the print reminds me of the television graphics of my childhood. The package says these are made of 70% cotton, 25% polyester, and 5% spandex, which means they can fit women’s sizes 5-10, and are still super-breathable. I think both the material blend and the length of the sock are spot-on; they’re super comfy without being tight or sagging. The solid toe and heel are a really nice style detail, too!
Cactus Socks
I was so hoping for a sassy pair with fun graphics, and I definitely wasn’t disappointed! Like their geometric counterparts, these socks are also a 70% cotton, 25% polyester, and 5% spandex blend, so they’re as comfy and fit as well as the first pair. My favorite part of these is definitely the writing on the sole! Wordplay is one of my very favorite things, and these definitely made me smile.
Verdict: Who knew socks could be so fun? I loved these two patterns, the quality materials, and fun dose of tongue-in-cheek humor! I think the geometric socks would be super-cute with dress sandals and a sundress, and the cacti would be great peeking out between ballet flats and jeans. I’m super happy with this subscription, mostly because my feet are always cold! Also, even though temperatures are rising, I’m outdoors a lot in the summer months, and these will be put to great use with my new hiking shoes, or even when I’m out wrangling landscaping projects in my yard.
