FeelUnique Fit For A Queen Box Review
Here is the information on the products included.
This box also came with a coupon book to use with your loved ones when need a break. I think these coupons would also be cute tucked into a card for a friend for them to redeem when they need it!
Hello Jo Stay Strong Volumising Caffeinated Shampoo, 200ml – Retail Value $16.63 (found here for $13.30)
This shampoo is made with walnut seed and coix seed extract as well as caffeine to promote hair growth and exfoliate your scalp. I thought this did a great job of leaving my scalp and hair feeling clean without feeling stripped or tight, which can happen easily with my curls.
Hello Jo Stay Strong Volumising Caffeinated Conditioner, 200ml – Retail Value $16.63 (found here for $13.30)
I really like this conditioner - I think it pairs well with the matching shampoo, but it also performs well when I use it on its own. Once I wash this out of my hair it feels noticeably softer, and it adds all the moisture my hair needs without weighing it down.
Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Overnight Recovery, 30ml – Estimated Value $5.30 (buy the full-size version for $26.50)
This is a leave-in sleeping mask for your hair that you apply to towel-dried hair before heading to bed. This absorbs quickly so you don't have to worry about residue all over your pillow, and when you wake up in the morning hair is frizz-free and shiny. This fits perfectly into my existing haircare routine because I usually shower at night and let it dry while I sleep!
Carita Progressif Micro-Peel Radiance Mask, 15ml
This mask is interesting - I cannot find it available for sale online anywhere! It seems a little weird that this mask is described as “iconic” when I can’t purchase it, but I digress. This mask is made with both enzymes for chemical exfoliation and has a physical exfoliant as well, and it is designed to help with anti-aging. I think this mask would be too rough for sensitive skin, but this definitely left my face baby-smooth.
Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing Balm, 0.5 oz - Estimated Value $8.57 (buy the full-size version for $60)
I love cleansing balms! They are a great way to remove every trace of makeup without having to use a harsh cleanser. This one really melted into my skin once I started applying it, and I didn’t need much to remove a full face of makeup.
Darphin Rose Aromatic Care, 4ml - Estimated Value $14.05 (buy the 15 mL bottle for $52.70 (£40.00))
This face oil makes me angry. It is a life-changing face oil, and I don't have the budget that allows me to purchase a face oil that costs over $50 for half an ounce of product. When I go in to apply this oil, I only need a few drops and it immediately sinks in and soothes my tired, stressed skin. I was genuinely impressed with how soothed and calmed my face looked and felt after using this one time, and I am torn between using it every chance I get and saving it for when I really need it. This doesn’t leave my skin greasy, and also the mini bottle is incredibly adorable.
Skyn Iceland Pure Cloud Cream, 0.35 oz - Estimated Value $11.32 (buy the full-size version for $55)
This moisturizer has a great texture- it is thick and airy, and I can see why it is called a “cloud” cream. This sank into my skin quickly and left it feeling nourished without being heavy.
Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrate, 0.17 oz – Estimated Value $2.72 (buy the 1 oz version for $16)
I have tried this moisturizer before and I like it, but I don’t love it. It is formulated with aloe vera and shea butter to moisturize dry skin, and I think it does a good job of that- it just doesn’t wow me.
Lanolips 101 Ointment Fruities in Strawberry - Full-Size! Retail Value $13.50
I think I have been sleeping on Lanolips because I have fallen in love with this balm! It is super nourishing, tastes slightly like strawberries, and really helps to keep chapped lips at bay.
The Verdict: I think this box was a knockout! I love that we got a full-size shampoo and conditioner duo, and the lanolips and darphin are new favorites for me. All of the products here really tie into the pampering yourself theme, and I thought a good assortment of brands and products were included. Even though I couldn’t find a value for the face mask, the rest of the box adds up to $88.40, which is more than double the cost of the box.
To Wrap Up:
