  1. I have no idea which month’s box I’m receiving, and haven’t gotten a shipping notification…but my Juice Beauty moisturizer just showed up in the mail, so I’m happy! I’ll be curious to see if/when and what month shows up. 😆

  2. Okay, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but I joined for this deal, have now been charged for April and May, and have received nothing, not even a shipping notification. When should I worry? Besides now, since so many have been burned…

    • I joined for this deal too. I haven’t received a tracking number. I’m already worried.

      • My Juice Beauty moisturizer arrived yesterday (no tracking) and I now have two tracking numbers for boxes, so I am breathing easy. Hope your stuff gets to you soon too!

        • Same for me. I received my juice beauty yesterday and 2 tracking numbers. I was so worried after reading comments about people not getting their free item.

  3. Ahh this juice beauty moisturizer deal sucked me back in. I cancelled after having seen we’d be getting 2 mos of tanning products and being subscribed to many other sub boxes I figured I could take a break. But alas this deal got me. I will say though even when I’m not excited about Allure’s curations there’s always a gem in every box. And they keep relatively fresh products every month. I so far haven’t received any repeats and I have been subscribed since the KVD box of last year. I will however say that they had a really great streak of WOW boxes but it seems we’ve hit a few months now or just okay ones. Hopefully the tides turn soon again, I’m sure they will.

  4. Never Recieved the Sunay Riley CEO. I have sent numerous emails and calls to allure, and they say the same thing everytime – ‘ We will send one out in 4-6 weeks’.

Another easy pass – I just cancelled and they offered me this inducement – after sending me a box with three sample hair products – two of which are anti-frizz and I don’t have frizz LOL and tanning towels – which I have negative interest in using and, at least in my circle, wasn’t even able to give the one I got last summer away as my fair friends want to stay fair and my friends who are Latina or AA don’t need for obvious reasons :-).

    It’s funny because I have such a wide range of ages/complexions in my circle that I always have friends who can use stuff that doesn’t work for me – EXCEPT self tanning.

    Based on a thread in the reddit forum, I wouldn’t even want to test as people complained about smell; tacky feeling; orange palms; and how it wore off unevenly

  6. I signed up in November and was supposed to receive the full size Sunday Riley and never received it so I will not be subscribing as I probably won’t receive this “free gift “

  7. I’m getting tired of typing out comments that never post! I guess only some opinions matter here!

    • Lets see if it lets me reply… Still never received the Caudalie Serum (Maybe spelled that wrong) and I signed up the day it was posted, made sure the Serum showed up on the page before subscribing, was told I didn’t sign up with that promotion. There was no promotion, it was sign up on this day and get the gift…. I sent email after email to them, showing them the time stamps of when I signed up, my confirmation email confirmed the date, they still wouldn’t send me it! Nothing I can do about it either, except not fall for it again. I don’t know why they do these “freebies” if they don’t want to send them; but I’m over it. Can you tell?

      • Call and keep trying. Tell them you want a refund for the 3 months you paid so far and offer to send them back. That’s what I did and allegedly my Caudalie is on the way early next week. This took 3 calls.

    • I said nothing bad, I tried posting 3 times and not a single one posted. I don’t know what is more frustrating, being frustrated with a sub box, or being stopped from expressing my feelings about it. Why have a comment section if we’re not aloud to use it?

      • I don’t think it’s anything personal. I run a website and have found filtering systems for comments to be imperfect. Certain words might send a comment to moderation or posting many times in short period might cause comments to be flagged by spam. Then they have to be manually approved by an administrator. I don’t know what system MSA uses, but I’m guessing this is why some of my comments show up immediately and others don’t post until a day later.

      • In addition to the points Mary listed, the other flag MSA has mentioned is posting from a new IP address for the first time. Since I often post from a work computer (shhhh) that has global IT, my IP address changes a lot. I’ve noticed that causes a delay in posting also…

  10. They didn’t send my January or February boxes. Finally refunded me without explaining why they never even tried shipping my boxes. And now they’re sending me emails asking me to resubscribe.

    That’s a no from me, dog.

  13. Meh…not even that moisturizer is enough to entice me with this dud of a box…

    • Same! I already have some of that stuff from the December box anyway. I definitely don’t need two of those eyeshadow palettes

  14. This box is awful (except for an always-useful brush!), but think of getting a full-size Juice Beauty moisturizer for $10 or $15. If you love the JB moisturizers like I do, and hate paying their prices (like I do), this is actually tempting…

    I will sleep on it and decide tomorrow.

  15. I was supposed to get what’s pictured for new subscribers in April. I did not get most of those items 😠. I didnt get the Juvia’s Place palette or the body scrub, I got a purple eyeliner, and a lip color I have no use for. That palette was the main reason why I signed up in April, and I’m beyond disappointed with my 1st month of Allure.

    • I’m glad you said something…I was tempted to sign up but definitely wont now!

      • It’s $10 for the box and the full size Juice Beauty Moisturizer! I mean to each his own, but I can’t seem to find anything wrong with what is received for the value. I understand they should not advertise something like that and switch it up, but for $10 I just won’t complain if they send something different. After becoming a subscriber, you will get what they have shown every month with a couple of variations.

      • This is the “current” April box for new subscribers, this my first time seeing this version. If you signed up before (as a new subscriber), I assume you would’ve received the April box everyone else received (that doesn’t include the palette and scrub).

    • Umm yeah. I received an Anastasia liquid lipstick and a navy blue Laura Geller eyeliner instead of the Juvia’s Place mini palette and Ouai scrub. Also I received a Moda brush instead of a Luxie brush. The palette would have been nice but I’m glad the lipstick and eyeliner were full size.

    • Kat- I recommend you call Allure Customer Service and politely tell them that you didn’t receive the palette and scrub which were advertised as being in the April box for new subscribers, and you would like them please. 800-274-1603. I think some people call in all huffy, and as the old saying goes, you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. It’s worth a shot anyway. I don’t know who Allure has filling their boxes these days, but they are making a ton of mistakes.
