Rihanna's Savage x Fenty lingerie line recently announced it's Xtra VIP membership—a shopping subscription plan that works a lot like Fabletics and ShoeDazzle.

Each month, new lingerie looks are added to their size- and skin-tone-inclusive catalog, which features a mix of ferociously flirty and blissfully casual pieces. Shop for something new, skip the month to avoid a charge, or have $49.95 saved to your account for the future. Members also get discounts off retail prices all month long, plus first dibs on limited edition Xtra VIP Boxes, which feature special or early-access products.

I subscribed to nab the 2 for $29 deal that they've recently been offering new members. Part of the sign-up process was taking a fun quiz about my personal style so that Savage x Fenty can curate recommended products for me each month. I'm already loving the vibe of the brand—the personality is big and sexy and fun. For instance, they ask about your lingerie style and have you pick from responses like "Bossy", "Playful and Girly", and "Hot AF"!

Here's the info card that came in my first order. Look, Rihanna wrote ME a note! (Okay, not really, but a girl can dream, right?)

I have to say, I'm a size 36B, but I really appreciate when a company is dedicated to providing a wide range of sizes. Someone's size should never prohibit them from the chance to wear something awesome. So three cheers to Rihanna for making that a priority!

Unlined Leopard Lace Bra in Electric Blu, Size 36B - Retail Value $44.00, Member Price $34.00, 2 for $29 Deal $12.32

I'm such a black bra girl that it seems almost shocking that I'd pick something as bright and bold as this. But I just couldn't pass it up! That blue is so pretty—even prettier in person—and something about it being paired with a subtle leopard-patterned lace makes it all the more modern and fresh. I'm a big fan of unlined bras when I can get away with them, and while this one does have an underwire, I didn't feel pestered by it. I found the 89% Nylon, 11% Spandex fabric to be soft and not scratchy in the least, which is usually my biggest gripe with lacy styles. And I really felt like the fabric fit my body well—I didn't feel like it was baggy or gapping anywhere, nor did it feel like I was spilling out of any particular area. I know it's bright blue, but I could totally see this cut becoming an everyday style for me, especially into summer when I want to feel light and breezy. And how cute would that blue band look peeking over the slow-slung armholes of a loose-fitting white tank?

Unlined Geo Mesh Bandeau Bra in Caviar, Size 36B - Retail Value $58.00, Member Price $46.00, 2 for $29 Deal $16.68

Admittedly, I picked this second bra because, well... I was curious. The shape is so different from anything I'm used to seeing on my local department store shelves. It's one of those things I wouldn't even think to look for, like, "Y'know what I'd like? An unlined bra that feels like a bandeau but has the structural support of an underwire." Never would've crossed my mind. And yet, here I am, loving this bra! It's very comfortable, and I like the criss-crossing "geo mesh" pattern. (It reminds me of fishnets over sheer stockings.) I can't say it's as comfortable as the more everyday-friendly leopard bra, but it's something I could see myself happily wearing on a special occasion when I want to feel fancy from my first layer up. I should mention that the underwire here is pretty unassuming—I knew it was there, but it wasn't distracting or annoying.

The Verdict: So far, I'm a Savage x Fenty fan. Now that I've tried some of the bras (and found them comfy, cute, and true to size), I'm even more excited about the variety of styles on the site. Unlined, padded, super-supportive, super-light, low-key, wildly sexy—there are a ton of looks to try in a myriad of colors. I'll admit that I'm not a huge fan of shopping for bras. (In stores, it feels overwhelming, digging around for your size, and online, it can be hard to know what you're in for.) So now that I've found a brand whose sizing, quality, price point, and best of all, aesthetic work for me, I could see myself sticking with it for a while. After all, the VIP program makes it really easy to prioritize building my bra collection!

To Wrap Up:

Can I get these bras if I sign up today? Yes! As of publication, both styles are still available in select sizes. Sign up now to nab 'em for a VIP price!

New VIP Offer: Use this link to get 2 bras or bralettes for $29!

Value Breakdown: The total retail value of the bras I got is $102.00. Existing VIPs can get them for the member price of $80.00 total, but new VIP subscribers can take advantage of the 2 for $29 deal that's still going at the time I'm writing this and nab them for an average of $14.50 each (or to be more specific, $16.68 and $12.32, per my invoice).

Have you tried Savage x Fenty lingerie? I'm especially curious to know what folks with different sizes from my own (36B) think about the bras—are all of the Savage x Fenty offerings as comfortable as I found mine to be?

Does the $49.95 vip membership fee count towards each monthly purchase? For example- If I am a VIP member and I purchase $60.00 worth of items, do I then pay the remaining $10.05? Or do I pay the $60.00 along with the $49.95 monthly fee? I cannot find this answer anywhere. Please help! Also… this blog post was awesome and informative! Thank you

It’s ridiculous that they claim to be size inclusive but only go up to DDD. I don’t expect every company to cater to the entire size range, but don’t brag about being inclusive if you only offer a limited size range. Just about every European bra company makes a much more extended size range but for some reason it’s a rarity with US based companies.

I have actually ordered the 2 for $29 . And I didn’t like them but I ended up keeping them . I’m a 40DD in all brands and I felt that the band was very tight to the point it was really hurting me . For reference I’m a L or XL in tops , size 12’. And I really felt that the sizing was off .

I am also a 40DD in most brands and had to go with the 42DD to make them work!

I absolutely LOVE this brand. I’m a 42D, and – 1) They have FUN colors and patterns even in these expanded sizes, and 2) I don’t really feel like I’m wearing a bra when I have these on, especially the microfiber t-shirt bra.

Rihanna truly hit it out of the park with this. 🙂 Like you, I also find the sizing true to fit and such. 🙂
