So I subscribed to boxycharm for the first time and it says that the month of March is sold out and sending me a f.o.m.o box as a welcome box does that mean that with the 21$ I paid is the April box covered for?

No, you paid for the FOMO box and you are going to receive it in March. You are going to be charged on April 1st for the April box.

Did anyone else receive a tracking email 8-10 days ago and the tracking stated the information sent to FedEx and then the box hasnt moved since? I contacted Boxy and all they sent me was the 5-10 days to track…ect. I just now got another email for tracking with a completely different trackintg number.

Yes same here!! I just received it today although I’m now out of town. My box has been shipped all over the place for 3 weeks. So frustrating I don’t ever had any trouble with my boxes from
FabFitFun always on time like clockwork. I’m about ready to cancel my subscription if they can’t pull it together!!

Humm my Boxy was suppose to be here Tuesday according to tracking number.
I live in Southern CA. and last night it was in Chino CA not to far away from me. Now today it’s in flippin Oklahoma!! Since it left GA. last week from Boxy it has been all over the place. Wth!! :((( I’m really kinda getting put out by this Company I have no problems with my other Boxes including FabFitFun💖 Oh well I guess we wait and see if it ever shows up. Also I might add I was suppose to get a Luxy Box this month and paid for it. Looks like they just sent me a BoxyCharm Smhhh:((

I received an email from Boxy today telling me that they are having trouble collecting the money from my account (I was charged on 03/01/2019) and now they are offering me a box with items that weren’t on any of the spoilers IF I update my payment information!

I like Tarte just fine but, I got that exact palette and gave it away. Not at all pigmented. I accidently subscribed for a year (don’t ask me how, I have no clue) and wished I hadn’t. I’m not impressed with Boxy as I am with Ipsy plus.

I agree. Tarte’s eyeshadow palettes are the oddest mix to me. Their Tartlette, In Bloom, and Amazonian are the best, “safe” browns that I have ever used. They are probably my favorite palettes when not wanting an over the top, colorful look. That said, their more colorful eyeshadows are horrible imo. There has to be some huge difference between their browns to their more fun colors in the formula.

I resubbed Saturday and the website said nothing about a FOMO box. I already have that crappy Tarte palette. So annoyed. I saw the review on here and saw that it was “still available” so I signed up.
Really tired of the bait and switch and treating influencers better than paying customers.

I am so upset! I am a new customer. I prepaid for 6 months. I subbed to BL, got an email saying I will definitely get boxyluxe. A week later got an email saying I’m waitlisted. Everyone I know got there boxy already. I emailed, got a generic cookie cutter response. I did get a tracking number, now my box says delivered yesterday but I didn’t get it. I wrote another email I’m seriously hoping I don’t fit stuck with the fomo box. I signed up the end of Feb for marchs box I specifically wanted that cover fx palette. I don’t even know if I want to keep boxy after this.

I received my Boxee lux and Thursday I believe and I receive the wrong color of the cover FX palette so I resubscribed to a regular box on Friday and I sure hope I’m not getting the FOMO Box. I would be so disappointed, but on the brighter side I was able to purchase the cover FX in my tone in a little bundle on one of the online resellers. But I really don’t need another tart pallet I got the pallet in January and I’m not too happy with it .Fingers crossed for the March box

Boxycharm responded to some comments under one of their instagram post stating if you subscribed before 11am EST on March 10th, you will receive the March box, not the FOMO. Hope it’s true.

If they were still showing the original March box on their site when you reactivated, I would contact them ASAP. If they confirm that you are getting the FOMO box and don’t want it, tell them you’d prefer a refund. They pretty much have to comply because otherwise you can fight it based on false advertising or bait & switch tactics. I’m sure if they refuse, your bank or credit card company will get you a refund. This kind of thing happens far too often and they end up breaking their word to customers on multiple issues over and over. I don’t think they were even close to being prepared for how fast they’ve grown this past year.

I would go ahead and email them now. Tell them if you can’t have the box you paid for you want a refund. They can’t really deny you because if the website was still advertising the original March box when you reactivated and they send you something else that’s false advertising/bait & switch. They’ve done this kind of thing many times. People need to start calling them out on it. CLEARLY they have an inadequate computer system and/or inept employees in charge of managing their inventory. I was assured I was getting Luxe this month but didn’t. First they tried blaming me and saying my $21 went through but my card company denied the $28.99 charge. They had NO evidence of that and I could prove that was a lie. They never even tried to charge me anything other than the regular $21. When I argued with them they stopped responding. Then I got an email (sent to a group of people) saying they were sorry but they ran out of Luxe boxes. So I already got cheated out of Luxe and now I might not even get the original March box because everyone but me got a spoiler email. If I end up with that FOMO box I know I definitely will demand a refund.

I got that one, and I really like it. Sometimes I use it just to add a little shimmer over other matte eyeshadows or in the inner corners. It applies best for me using my fingers if I want more intense pigment – I’m guessing that’s because it’s sort of a creamy texture.

I opened it, was underwhelmed and now it’s collecting dust on one of my shelves. Definitely unimpressed with Tarte tbh. I like their concealer but their foundation is totally mediocre imo.

I still haven’t received my boxyluxe box, just 3 emails saying that my box will be late this month… it’s odd because some people have gotten the wrong palette colors and they will have to gift because boxycharm cant replace them…. I hope I get the box that I paid for and not the replacement box…

I agree! I’d rather not see the repeats as potential future variations, so letting the newcomers have them is a great way to use the extras. I think last month they made it available for us to purchase as well, which is great if there’s some things in it you really want again.

Agree! This is a great box for someone who’s relatively new to beauty boxes.
That mascara is not even better than drugstore mascaras, let alone its name. Clumps like crazy.

I like this mascara a lot too. I don’t have any issues with clumps, but I also dab the excess off the wand with a tissue. I suspect that’s wear “clumps” come from since it’s a thick formula – any excess will make your lashes stick together. Using a clean spoolie right after applying will help if you get to much on your lashes too.
