Voctron Beanie & Scarf Set

This scarf and beanie set was really soft! The black was super black which really allowed the colors of the wolf (dog?) faces to pop at the end of the scarf. I am going to be honest: I don’t know what this is, a game or a series? I tried finding this set in the Loot Vault and was unable to find it, I was also not able to find it in previous Loot Crate’s that we have reviewed (and we have reviewed A LOT!). When I Googled it, there were many things that popped up, so I think it is a series. Either way, it’s a nice scarf and beanie set.

Power Rangers UNITE! Mini-Figure – Retail Value $9.99 (found here for $4.99)

When I was a kid, I always loved Kimberly, the Pink Power Ranger, so I was pretty excited to get her in my box out of all the other ones. This little figure stands at 2.5 inches tall and features the pterodactyl coin. The figure has little parts that allow it to connect to the other UNITE Power Rangers, which are all found in the Loot Vault if you are interested in collecting the 5 of them.

Eric also received Kimberly in his November 2017 box – there must be a lot of her!

Marvel All-Over Comic Laces – Retail Value $4.99 (found here for $2.49)

These are fun! My son loves Marvel (we do too!) and we just got done making a really cool wall display over his TV with a couple of Marvel pictures. We were pretty psyched to see we got some shoelaces that are Marvel. These are super long – 48 inches each – so they will lace into any sized shoe without a problem. The only thing is, I cannot really make anything out except for Captain America’s shield. The vault had these, but the picture shows the laces are colored and I can’t help but wonder if they were colored if you can make out more of the characters? Regardless, we love these laces and think they are the best thing in the box this month. Liz also got the grey ones in May 2015!

Battleground Coin Pin – Retail Value $4.99 (found here for $2.49)

I enjoy the mystery of the coin I will receive every month in my Loot Remix subscription. This month is from Battleground. While I have never played Battleground, but it’s a cool pin. I like the skeleton with the spade barret.

Verdict: I enjoy the Loot Remix box most of the time. I like the mix of items from genres that we get. I am really hoping I will get something from Breaking Bad soon – I see it a lot in previous boxes and in the Vault. This crate promises a $30 value and the items I could find totaled $19.97. I do think the scarf and hat set are worth at least $10 so the value was there this month. I think the best thing about this box is the total randomness of what you may get.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will get a box with a different mix of items.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $14.99 + free shipping, which means that each of the 4 items in the box has an average cost of $3.75.

  1. They just used a confusing font. Definitely Voltron!

    • It’s not a confusing font, it’s the logo for the show and has been around since the 80s.

  2. Voltron is a actually a very old cartoon series that Netflix rebooted. The figures on the corner of the scarf and beanie are actually lions that can all assemble into one giant fighting robot. The set was featured in loot wear a year or 2 ago. It really is such an amazing show, I suggest giving it a try and i think it’s okay for kids 7 and up C:

  3. Voltron was a cartoon in the 80s that I believe they have redone. It was similiar to power rangers but the kids piloted robot lions 🙂

    • This is Voctron though. I’ve never heard of it either lol

      • This is exactly where I was confused! Relief to see if not the only one! 😄

      • Good ol’ Voctron. What would we do without him? 😛
