Korean Snacks Box March 2019 Review

Included this month in the beautiful new box is our candy pouch and a little info card.

Korean Snack Box pepero skinny box Korean Snack Box skinny open Korean Snack Box pepero skinn sticks

Pepero Skinny Cacao

These reminded me of Pocki, but they were harder, thinner, and had more crunch! They were a semi-sweet treat, and sometimes the dark chocolate was a little bitter to my taste, but not in a bad way. I enjoyed these with tea and cream and it was a really tasty afternoon snack!

Korean Snack Box peach gummies Korean Snack Box peach gummies open

Maigumi Peach

Marne and I both really loved these candies. The scent of the peach smell is super strong (more than the taste even!) and it is a juicy natural peach scent. The little peach shapes gummies are soft and adorable. We would gladly take more of these!

Korean Snack Box strawberry cookies Korean Snack Box strawberry cookies open

Crown Sando

I really wanted to like these but they were so dry! Like, "I didn't notice the filling at all" kind of dry. If I change the type of snack these are in my mind to "cracker" instead of "cookie" I like them much more though, and once again these were great paired with tea. The filling is strawberry flavored, but pretty minimal.

Fresh Berry

This snack had the weirdest texture! Feeling it from the outside, I couldn't tell if it was a marshmallow, a giant gummy, or what was going on. I was really surprised to find it was more of a baked good sort of treat when I opened it. t was pretty tasty, the soft outside hides a layer of sweet berry cream between each bun. These were really good warmed up in the oven for a minute or two!

Korean Snack Box sweet and sour candies Korean Snack Box open candy

Saekomdalkom Mini

I have had these before and I freaking love them! They are a perfect balance of sweet and sour and the fruit flavors seem much more authentic than many similar American snacks. I need a whole bag of these!

Kakao Talk Jelly Bbo

These gel cups were really fun! Much less dense than I imagined, you can literally slurp them from the cups. They would be really good cold but you can enjoy them at room temperature straight from the cup or flip them upside down and eat with a spoon if you want to feel fancy.

Verdict: Korean Snacks Box was so fun this month! I loved the fruit flavor overload and all the different textures and types of snacks that came this round. My favorites were the peach gummies and the fruit chews, but that was no surprise as I can't get enough of these types of snacks. I loved trying out the gel cups and fresh berry buns, as we don't really have super similar American products. I think the new boxes this month are so pretty and would easily recommend this sub to anyone who loves trying new types of sweets and candy.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

Nice review Megan. I just got a Box of Mexican Candy & Treats today. My son and I were really looking forward to it but let me just say it was “No Bueno”. These products look so much better then the ones I received!

Hey Jennifer! Thanks! I actually spent a lot of time in Mexico in college and lived with exchange students and it took me a long, long time to get used to their candies. They are SO different! I now can’t resist those vero mango chili lollipops though…
