At first I thought this mask looked great, but then I noticed that it has coconut milk, which I usually avoid with acne prone skin. But I wonder if it would still clog pores since it is a mask that gets washed off and not a lotion that stays on?

I love Lilfox! I don’t want any more products but I always enjoy using these items. Almost done with Lilfox Prickly Pear Illuminating Be,auty Nectar and Lilfox Kalahari Brightening Eye Serum which are so gentle on my skin.

Luna – what makes you not a fan of this mask?

Hi Cassandra!
I haven’t tried the Cleopatra mask that will be featured in this month’s Clean Beauty Box, so I’m actually really looking forward to trying it. 🙂
I wasn’t a fan of Lilfox’s Jungle Glow mask that I received in a different beauty box because it was a little hard to work with for me due to the abundance of honey in it. I felt it was quite sticky, messy, and hard to spread over the face. After a few trial & error applications, I discovered that applying it with fairly wet hands worked best, but due to the little bit of added water from my wet hands, it made the honey sort of work it’s way down my neck and seep onto my lips and into my mouth if I didn’t wipe it away in time; and if I did wipe it away in time the tissue I’d use would get really sticky and I had to watch where I placed it while wearing the mask. I like to tune out a bit while masking and not be so “aware” like I felt I had to be with this mask to catch any drippings. Also, I don’t feel like I have sensitive skin, but I felt like this mask was a bit too harsh for my skin (it’s an exfoliating mask with ground up bits in it). But, this was just my experience, and I hear that a ton of people really love the Jungle Glow mask.

Luna, I tried the Cleopatra mask and found it lovely. I have ordered the Jungle Glow and plan to try mixing it with “the Cleo” and see how that works. So far, Maholo’s Bean and Josh Rosebrook’s enzyme mask are tops for me. I have tried Ayuna Essence and the green mask (can’t remember name) and those work well in combination and come in under the other two. I plan to try this new mask for a few weeks to see how it works. The mist is divine.

It’s now $83.90 for two months

The mask is worth the box for me. So excited they gave something to mix with as well. Thanks for the reveal. Thanks Luna for steering me to this box, I’ve been nothing but pleased with brand discoveries.

I’m so happy to hear you’re loving the box! 🙂 I think this is a really great combo of products, and I’m so happy we get to try both. I saw the brand spoiler was Lil Fox maybe a week ago, and I was so hoping they wouldn’t include their Jungle Glow mask, only because I wasn’t really a fan of that one (although I know a lot of people love it). Cleopatra has received a ton of praise, so I’m super excited to receive it. Plus, I always love face mists!
