Sooni Mask Pouch February 2019 Review

Sooni Mask Pouch January 2019-Sooni Mask Info Front

Here is the info sheet for the box, with the length of time you should wear each mask detailed. Also, since I also receive the Sooni Mini Pouch, this pouch of sheet masks was tucked into the larger packaging.

Sooni Mask Pouch January 2019-Sooni Mask Anna Front

On the other side of my info sheet is a note that my pouch was prepared by Anna!

Sooni Mask Pouch January 2019-Sooni Mask Moksha Front

Moksha Dear Berry Face Mask – Retail Value $2.50

This sheet mask is made with berry extracts like strawberry, blueberry, and cranberry, along with tomato extract and lavender. This was soothing to my skin, didn’t have a discernable scent, and left it feeling hydrated.

Sooni Mask Pouch January 2019-Sooni Mask Nature Republic Front

Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Sheet Mask – Estimated Value $3.90 (based on other Nature Republic masks)

This sheet mask is made with Hawaiian seawater and is designed to provide maximum moisture to your skin. The mask had some stretch and fit my face well, and I was impressed with the good ingredients list. My skin definitely felt like it consumed a tall drink of water after using this.

Sooni Mask Pouch January 2019-Sooni Mask steam 107 Front

Steam107 Coconut Essential Mask – Retail Value $3

This is a common sheet mask to appear in various K-Beauty boxes, and it is a solid 20-minute experience. It isn’t going to work any miracles, but it is going to provide extra hydration to your skin without being overly sticky.

Sooni Mask Pouch January 2019-Sooni Mask deep detox Front

Dewytree Deep Detox Black Mask – Retail Value $2.99

The packaging on this sheet mask definitely caught my eye- it gives me high school notebook doodle vibes. To be honest, though, I am not really impressed by the Dewytree masks I have tried. This one, in particular, has alcohol as the fourth ingredient, and the beneficial ingredients like volcanic ash, charcoal powder, papaya extract, and Centella Asiatica come after.

Sooni Mask Pouch January 2019-Sooni Mask Nutrition Front

Dewytree Hyaluronic Acid Nutrition Mask – Retail Value $2.30

This mask is made with ceramides and hyaluronic acid to hydrate your skins moisture barrier, but I can’t find an online ingredients list to see where alcohol ranks on the list. Regardless, though, my skin felt more hydrated after wearing and the mask fit my face well.

Sooni Mask Pouch January 2019-Sooni Mask Apieu Front

A’Pieu Lemon Fruit Vinegar Mask – Retail Value $3 (on sale here for $2.40)

A’Pieu is a popular sheet mask brand, and I have enjoyed most of the ones I have tried from them. I was excited about this one thanks to the unusual ingredients- lemon extract, vinegar, and AH (which I think is an abbreviation for alpha-hydroxy acids?). Either way, I liked this! I do think there was some temporary brightening once I took it off, and it had a lemon scent that was unique.

The Verdict: If you enjoy sheet masking, I honestly think the Sooni Mask Pouch is one of the most affordable subscription boxes out there. All of these sheet masks were new to me this month, and the Moksha and A’pieu were favorites I would happily use again. Considering the price per mask breaks down to $1.67, it is hard to be unhappy even if not all masks are a great fit.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? Yes, I believe February boxes are still shipping.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $9.99 + free US shipping, which means that each of the 6 masks in the box has an average cost of $1.67.

Nice review, Jessica!
I was wondering if you could do a comparison for sheet masks subscription? Something like “Ipsy vs Birchbox vs SephoraPlay”?
I was thinking of subscribing to one, but still a little confused of which one’s a better fit.
It will be great if you could also do comparison for K-beauty box subscription!
Thanks!
