Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Info Sheet Top

Here is the info sheet detailing the products.

Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Etude House Natural Konjac Cleansing Puff Top Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Etude House Natural Konjac Cleansing Puff Opened Top

Etude House Natural Konjac Cleansing Puff – Retail Value $4

I haven’t used a Konjac sponge in a while and I had forgotten how much I love them! They really help in making me feel like I have effectively cleansed my face, but when wet they are the most gentle sponge- this one, at least, is totally safe for sensitive skin. I also like using these when I am washing off clay face masks!

Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Manyo Factory Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Repair Ampoule Front Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Manyo Factory Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Repair Ampoule Opened Front Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Manyo Factory Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Repair Ampoule Opened Top

Manyo Factory Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Repair Ampoule, 1.7 oz – Retail Value $24

This ampoule has a fabulous ingredients list- 30% of it is hyaluronic acid, and it is also made with rosemary leaf water, chamomile flower water, and bamboo sap. This is ampoule absorbed quickly into my skin and definitely improved the hydration levels in my face. For those of you who aren’t familiar with ampoules, I used mine after my toner and before my serum.

Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - A’Pieu Naked Cleansing Balm Front Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - A’Pieu Naked Cleansing Balm Opened Top

A’Pieu Naked Cleansing Balm, 1.59 oz – Retail Value $12

I love a good cleansing balm and this is no exception- it is absolutely lush. To use I take a little bit and massage it into dry skin, and then add water which causes it to emulsify and rinse away the makeup and dirt of the day. Cleansing balms are perfect as a first cleanse in a two-step cleansing routine, as they are typically very gentle and don’t strip your skin.

Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Farmstay Olive Intensive Moisture Foam Cleanser Front Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Farmstay Olive Intensive Moisture Foam Cleanser Opened Front

Farmstay Olive Intensive Moisture Foam Cleanser, 3.38 oz – Retail Value $10

For the second cleanse in our two-step routine Pink Seoul sent this foaming cleanser. It is made with olive extract, and this is a seriously moisturizing cleanser. The foam texture almost has a whipped consistency, and it glides over my skin with ease. All in all, a great cleanser- especially for the price.

Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Tony Moly Tako Pore Sebum Sun Stick Front Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Tony Moly Tako Pore Sebum Sun Stick Opened Front

Tony Moly Tako Pore Sebum Sun Stick – Retail Value $12.50

If you don't think this octopus sunscreen is absolutely adorable, I am not sure we can be friends. This cheerful guy is made with calamine and marine extracts and is designed to provide sun protection while also controlling oil. To be honest, I don't think this lived up to the claim of controlling oil- my skin felt a little greasy at the end of the day after using this. That being said, I love the portability and the fact I can apply it without having to spend a solid three minutes rubbing it in.

Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - Seantree Snail Mask Sheet Top

Seantree Snail Mask Sheet – Retail Value $2

This sheet mask did not impress me. While normally I love using snail skincare, this mask had alcohol listed as the fourth ingredient—before the snail. I do my best to avoid products that have alcohol in the first half of the ingredients list as it can cause sensitivity to my skin, so I will be passing this mask along.

Pink Seoul Box January 2019 - The Saem Natural Tea Tree Mask Top

The Saem Natural Tea Tree Mask – Retail Value $3.90 (found here for $3.71)

This mask, on the other hand, was great! Along with tea tree, this mask also has Centella Asiatica and allantoin, and it fit my face well. I had a small breakout on my chin when I wore this, and I do think the pimples were less inflamed after using.

The Verdict: PinkSeoul is one of my favorite boxes to receive because I know I can expect several full-size items suited specifically to my skin’s needs. This month was no exception, and I am loving that they sent a detailed skin cleansing regime with the Konjac, cleansing balm, and face wash. Pink Seoul promises a value of $60 in this box, and this month they met that promise with a total value of $68.40.

The Wrap Up:

I am so very angry with this company. I ordered it once back in September I believe, and cancelled directly thereafter. A few days ago, I received a charge from them that I NEVER approved! I quickly emailed them, and 4 days later the ONLY email I received was them telling me the package had been sent. I emailed them again to explain I didn’t want the box, and I have still have heard NOTHING!! Ugh.
