I recently joined for the first time in February and so excited that I was able to grab the Real Flower Cleansing water. I’ve never heard of this one and after searching on it, I couldn’t believe they were offering a $22 product free. Thought that was cool

Lol that’s a tiny size that you get. Maybe 2 uses. Point rewards for Ipsy are rarely full size.

I hope you know it’s a sample size. About a 10th of the full size product that costs $22. Just to you can set your expectations for what you’re getting for free. The size is listed in the product description.

Ipsy hasn’t been keeping up with there rewards. They need better variety for points and products…

I’ve only redeemed twice since joining last June. 1st for a full sized perfume oil that retails for around $35 (500 pts). And recently for the full sized Pixi blush duo that retails for $18 (600 pts). I’m very happy with what I’ve been able to get but you definitely have to constantly monitor the site. I agree the variety lately has been poor. And, I think 600 pts should be reserved for full sized items only.

So true! I love my monthly bag but there is nothing I ever want to redeem points for.

I’m in the minority but I actually love Doucce products.

The few Doucce products I’ve received, I’ve enjoyed using too. I have their lip crayons and my recent discovery was their lip stain.

I actually like them too. They have quality products for sure if everyone would give them a fair shot and classy packaging.

Yay, I grabbed some of the skyn blemish dots. Those things rock! They work much better for me than the colloid patches.

Really unhappy in recent months (like going back to…. Oct?) that they’ve been releasing almost no new rewards and putting pretty much all of them at the 600 level (including ones that were previously 250-350). I think they’re strategically counting on people staying subscribed in an attempt to wait out good rewards to redeem… through all their screwups in recent months (missing products, failure to ship, etc).

Yeah I’ve noticed almost all the rewards have been 600. Or 350 or higher. They used to have lower ones but the past few months there have been no lower rewards at all.

I really love the skin acne tabs… I got some in my beautyfix box and used it when I had a pimple on my face I put it on that night that morning it was gone… I was shocked but extremely happy. I will use them again.

Those items have been there for two days now. Ipsy hasn’t had a decent reward up for a long time. Where are the full sized items? I remember redeeming points for a full sized It Cosmetics lipstick and lime crime lipsticks in the past.

There was recently a full sized Pixi blush duo available for 600 pts. I was pretty excited to redeem my points for that. Full sized items do seem to be few and far between. I check often when I’ve got points to redeem. Last thing I got was a full sized perfume oil that was around a $35 retail for 500 pts I think. I do agree selection has been lacking and feel the 600 pt level should only be for full sized products.

I would send an email to customer service and request to be put on the list. I did that and while you get the canned response that wait times vary, I was on the waitlist for over a month before I sent my email, then a little over a week after, I noticed that I had the option to get GBP on the site but I did not receive an email about it.

I’m so happy I read your comment (and even this post, which I never read), because I recently re-subscribed to Ipsy, primarily to try IGBP for a few months, and I also sent them an email shortly after re-subscribing and was basically told I was put on the waitlist to get on THE waitlist. Well, I never heard anything after that, but after reading your comment I checked my account, and I had the offer asking if I wanted to join IGBP! I decided to keep both subs for now, because I always have enjoyed getting the actual bags too. But now I’m wondering if my first my Ipsy Plus sub will start in February.

How disappointing! I’ve had my subscription for over a year and haven’t gotten the option. I emailed them over a month ago and got that same waitlisted for the waitlist message. But I just double checked my account after reading these comments and I still don’t have the option. It’s just not right to invite brand new customers so much sooner than long term subscribers. Especially those of us that have actually made the effort and asked for it. Feels like something Boxycharm would do (or has done rather! 😄)
—-I really hope this still gets posted after that comment. These days 80% of my comments never post (I check the next day) for some reason. Even ones that don’t say anything against a company. 🤔

What a crappy point system ipsy has it’s not nearly as good as boxycharm. The rewards are of little value and since the new Glam bag plus has 🌟 started they should revamp their point system and rewards.

I’m wondering if anyone can help me or has a clue about this. If I went back to Ipsy, restarted my sub with them, how long would it actually take to get offered GBP? Thanks.

I’ve been subscribed for over a year and still haven’t received the offer to upgrade to Plus. I emailed them last month and they said they’re selecting people in groups (whatever that means) and they would add my name to those that are wanting to be put on the waitlist. So basically I’m on a waitlist to be put on a waitlist. Unfortunately I wouldn’t get my hopes up too high if I were you. However, they don’t seem to be going by seniority or any other criteria I’m aware of. So if the selection is just totally random, you could get an invite soon after you resubscribe.
I know this answer was probably not especially helpful but just wanted you to be prepared that it could be a long wait. Or maybe not. 😄
Good Luck!

The easiest way in my opinion to get offered it, is to email them expressing your interest in it. Your invitation should follow soon.
