A few individually packed bags of tea are included as well. I love throwing these in my purse to have on hand, as the tea selections at the coffee shop at school are a bit subpar.

Chopra Center Organic Detox Signature Tea, 20 sachets – Retail Value $18

This tea was made in partnership with the Chopra Center and was created under the guidance of ayurvedic practices. The tea is a blend of lemon peel, ginger root, peppermint, lemon balm, fennel, turmeric, coriander, and cumin (all organic), and is designed to help increase your metabolism, calm inflammation, and aid your body in eliminating toxins. I can’t really speak to those benefits, but I can say this was a surprisingly delightful cup of tea. When I saw the bright yellow color and the ingredients list, I was worried this would be too herbaceous for me. It actually is perfectly balanced, and it doesn’t need any sweetener. I don’t know if it is really helping my body detox, but it is certainly helping my mind to relax, and I have already made myself several cups of this tea.

The Verdict: I thought an ayurvedic detox tea was a great choice for the January box, and the tea itself was quite delightful. Since a tin of 20 sachets normally retails for $18, you're also getting a $4 discount by subscribing- and those individually wrapped tea bags honestly do add more personal value to me.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? I am not positive but I think the February box is shipping!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $14 with free shipping which means I saved $4 off my tin of tea, not included the free samples.

I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

I received this detox tea as well. I was also surprised at how perfectly balanced it is. I am amazed that I only have about 5 sachets left! I love boxes, not just for their value, but for the opportunity to make myself try things I would otherwise not choose.
