Your Bijoux Box January 2019 "New Year, New Sparkle" Review
The January collection is filled with sparkly things that remind me of snowy wintertime. There is usually an info card included but I didn't receive one this month.
Starlight Jacket Earrings
I've been hoping for a pair of ear jackets like this! John says they "look like tiaras for your ears," which I have no problem with. 🙂 Since they're ear jackets, the studs and the "tiara" part are separate. That means you can wear the studs alone or with the jackets. Or, you could put the jackets onto any other studs you have. I like that even though these are small, they have a lot of fun details like different shapes and sizes of crystals. The wide backs are comfortable the two levels of loops for the posts allow you to find the best fit for your earlobe.
Alyssa Layered Necklace
I really like the teardrop shaped beads on this choker and that it reflects the shape of the ear jackets. Unfortunately, it's so short that even worn at the longest length, it's too tight. I'm also not loving how the crystals look like they are crooked within the bezel and that the clasp doesn't want to close. I've had no quality issues in the past, so I'm a bit surprised by the issues with this necklace.

Modern Snowflake Bracelet
This bracelet is so pretty! The simple chain paired with the sparkly starburst gives it a delicate but glam look. And, it looks more expensive than it is (I don't know the RV, so I'm assuming here). This style of clasp is my favorite; it slides smoothly and stays put, plus it's easy to put on by yourself.
Bonus Item: New Years Resolution Kit
What a cute bonus! I can jot down all of my new ideas and goals for the year with this little pink notepad and a fancy pen. The tear-off sheets of paper are smooth and have a nice weight for writing. The matching pink pen is topped with a gold crown and pearl and writes (surprisingly smoothly) in blue ink.
The Verdict: This month, Your Bijoux Box served up some winter wonderland inspired sparkles. I love that I can wear the ear jackets multiple ways and think that the bracelet is beautiful. The choker felt poorly designed since it had sizing issues and iffy hardware. The bonuses have been awesome lately though and I'm already getting lots of use out of my notepad and froufrou pen. The beautiful packaging is fun to open each month and would make a great give just as it comes.
