YogaClub Guru Subscription December 2018 Review

After such a good outfit last month, I'm excited to see what YogaClub sent me this month. Let's take a look!

A few coupon code cards are included for other yoga and skincare brands.

outfit front outfit back

Here is this month's outfit all together. I'm not crazy about the burgundy and grey-blue together, but I love the blue and white contrast. I'd also pair a longer top with these leggings (you can see why below). Keep reading for info on the individual pieces!

top back

Onzie Braid Back Long Sleeve Top, One-Size - Retail Value $58

Onzie is a California-based company that does 99% of their production in LA. They focus on making clothes that are functional and have creative elements. That's reflected in the braided back detail of this shirt, which lets the strappy back trend in sports bras show through. The fabric is a very thin poly/rayon blend with 5% spandex for a bit of stretch. Although I like the back, I don't think the drop shoulders and high neckline are flattering on me. Maybe if it were a bit looser...

FP Movement Barre Legging, M - Retail Value $88

These leggings are so comfortable! Actually, I'd consider them more like workout tight because they are sheer when stretched out (like during squats). While I love the double-banded, high waistband (it doesn't slide down), I don't think the fit is flattering around my stomach. For both of those reasons, I'd always wear a longer top with these. The fabric is a mix of polyester and elastane, which gives it a shiny finish and super smooth feel. The mesh pockets are great for stashing keys or phone securely.

TLF White Strappy Back Sports Bra, M - Estimated Value $42

I'm really impressed with this simple sports bra! I like the strappy back and that there aren't any hooks or clasps to worry about. I couldn't find this exact bra on their site, but I'd say it's a poly/spandex mix based on a very similar bra. It's stretchy enough to be pulled on/off easily but still has a high-impact hold. The fabric is double layered with no extra padding and there's little to no show through. I'm loving it!

The Verdict: This month's YogaClub box is ok. I'll wear all of the items but not everything is my favorite. The leggings are so comfortable; I'll just have to make sure to pair them with longer tops. I love the bra and like how it pairs with the top, although the top could be looser. Altogether, I received a value of $188. So, I think that if you wear activewear often, this box is a good deal. You can see the value breakdown below and I think these values are pretty comparable to what I'd find at outlets or even TJMaxx. But, the quality seems to be higher and it comes to my door!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Everyone's box is curated to fit their specific style, needs, and size, so what I got in my box this month might be different than what you get. But that also means you might get something that you love even more! Get started here.
