Splendies Women's Underwear Subscription December 2018 Review

Splendies Penguin Undies, size large - Listed Retail Value $12.00

These are super adorable and are keeping with the fun holiday theme for December as they did with Halloween. These baby blue hipsters feature a wintery penguin pattern complete with snowflakes, trees, hearts, and gifts. The fabric is 87% nylon and 13% spandex which make them soft and stretchy which fit right against the skin without being too tight. There's matching baby blue lace trim and a red bow at the waist too. These fit a little snug but just enough to keep them on. 🙂

Miss Vickie's Intimates Lace Undies, size large - Listed Retail Value $12.00

These, however, are a little too snug for me. It's a shame because the red and white lace is really pretty. The red has a rose pattern to it and they also have s hipster cut which is my favorite. If these weren't lace, I might be able to rock them but I tend to rip lace easily if they aren't quite the right size since it can be more delicate.

Splendies Floral Thong, size large - Listed Retail Value $12.00

I really enjoy the pale pink background with the navy, green, and red floral pattern of this thong. I don't wear thongs often but they're good to have around if I wear a tighter dress for an event or something. These are super duper soft like the penguin ones and are made of 86% nylon and 14% spandex. The best part is that there is no bulky seam or tag, so they won't leave any lumpy lines.

The Verdict: The Splendies undies sent this month were pretty cute, but per usual, the sizing was hit or miss even though they are two familiar brands that I've received in the past from them. The $13.99 price is good for three pairs and it's fun to get patterns I wouldn't normally pick up.

I received the penguins and the red lace in my Volupties bag too. The red lace was a weird fit and the penguin might actually be too big since they keep sliding down when I move. The third pair was a plaid cheekie one that gave me a wedgie in the back and kept sliding down in the front. Highly disappointing since they are all so soft! I’m giving them one more month and then I may have to cancel.

I found The sizing on the voulupties to be very inconsistent and I was lucky to get one of the 3 pair to fit each month. They were aware of the sizing issue also since my package would come with some in XL 2XL and others in 4XL depending on manufacturer. I finally quit and go for comfort instead of cute since my goal was to actually wear them rather than look at them.

That’s good to know. It’s annoying that so many companies that say they’re inclusive treat you in a way that shows that they’re anything but. I guess I’ll be canceling this one.
