Loved + Blessed “Faithful” January 2019 Review
Each box includes a theme card on the inside of the front lid of the box. This month’s theme is “Faithful” and is not just about building our faith in God but acknowledging God's faithfulness towards us. This reminds me of one of my favorite songs by Donnie McClurkin. It’s a really simple but powerful song that thanks God for his faithfulness, mercy, and grace. This card describes the theme in detail and is intended to be a keepsake and serve as a visual reminder of the importance of God’s faithfulness.
The information card describes the items in this month’s box and their intended purpose. It encourages you to read more on the Loved + Blessed blog and invites you to fellowship with Loved + Blessed in their private Facebook group. It also highlights the charitable cause supported this month.
Mini Poster – Great is Thy Faithfulness
This mini poster has lyrics from a classic hymn 'Great is Thy Faithfulness'. God grants us new mercies daily! This hymn is a celebration of His love and faithfulness towards us. It’s often sung but one of my favorite renditions is by CeCe Winans. Her voice captures the lyrics in the most powerful and soulful way. It’s amazing to hear.
Reminder Sticker – Forever Faithful
This months sticker reads "Forever Faithful”. There are numerous biblical references to God's faithfulness. For example, Psalm 119:90 says “Your faithfulness continues through all generations; you established the earth, and it endures." His faithfulness is never-ending!
Reminder Gift – Faithful Bracelet
At Loved + Blessed, reminder gifts are intended to serve as a reminder and reinforce the month's topic. This month's box includes a lovely bracelet designed and developed by Love + Blessed. It's beautifully simplistic in its design with a medallion that simply stages "Faithful". I love the color choices and that the bracelet is adjustable. I'll wear this often.
Encouragement Kit – Encouragement Card
At Loved + Blessed, encouragement kits are meant to be shared to pass along encouragement to others and brighten their day. This month, a pop-up card is included in our box to write a note to a family member, friend or stranger. The pop-up is a little odd, like a note inside of a note, but I think the card design is very nice and I’d be happy to receive this card from a friend.
Scripture Card – Lamentations 3:21-24
Lamentations 3:21-24 is cited on this month’s scripture card.
"This I recall to mind, therefore I have hope.
Through the Lord's mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
They are new every morning; Great Is Your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”.
This verse reminds us that during challenging times to remember God is faithful, merciful, and compassionate. His faithfulness is great and is new every morning. He is forever faithful so don’t give up hope!
Monthly Blog Post and Workbook
Each box includes a card (not pictured) that contains the information and password for accessing the monthly blog and workbook. This members-only content includes access to a library of resources, special events, and private sales. The blog further delves into the month’s theme and the workbook is truly impressive. There is a lesson along with journaling prompts and activities for each week. My favorite question from this month’s workbook was “How would you describe the difference between your faith in God and God’s faithfulness towards you?”. It’s incomparable! I find a lot of value in this member exclusive content. It’s my favorite part.
Private Facebook Group – Loved and Blessed Ladies
The private Facebook group offers a space to connect with other Loved + Blessed subscribers for fellowship and discussion. The Loved + Blessed founder Jamila often posts encouraging videos in the group which I enjoy.
Verdict: This is my favorite faith-based box! I really appreciate the thought and vision that goes into each box. I love how the focus of the month, Faithfulness, is carried throughout all of the items included in the box. The bracelet is beautifully designed and was a treat to find in this month’s box. The online workbook is always impressive and well thought-out. This box cost $19.99 with free shipping making it an inexpensive box. I definitely think this box is worth the price and more.
