This shipped fast! I ordered on 1/9, the day this was posted and received FedEx notification this morning that my box is out for delivery!

Yay!! I got that fabulous scarf (love my other two donni scarves), essential oils (use the WoW Eucalyptus in my diffuser now), Exfolikate, and the wallet. What a great box! The only things I don’t need are that darn highlighter (have two already) and another Exfolikate (I have a full one right now), but at least I love both of the products. I just hope they don’t get bad while I use up what I have now. 🙂

I just sent this email to Katie at Fabfitfun:

‘I, like so many others, bought the Editor’s box in the edit sale. I knew I could not customize the box. Now, I see it is available and with customization, and for the same price I paid.

This was a dirty trick to play on a loyal customer.

I’m not going to ask for a refund, but I will be canceling my subscription. You took all the joy out of your box with this nasty little move.

Please let me know what I need to do to cancel my FabFitFun membership.’

I’m tired of supporting these boxes that don’t support us back. There are enough others out there for me to spend my money on. Yes, I know I could have called their customer service and asked them to fix this, but the fact is, I shouldn’t have to.

I was on board until I saw that the wallet is out of stock. This makes the box not worth it to me at $50. No way is that throw thing worth a comparable retail value.

Lori

See comments below. You can change other items and the wallet will appear in stock.

jackie

The wallet is in stock.

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

For me, anyway.

Sarah

I’m so excited! I got the scarf, hand cream (loved your description of it, Liz, in your review – trying it out over the KS because of it!), wallet, and masks (which I LOVE so
much – worth it). Glad I held off from the Edit Sale, but I’d be frustrated if I purchased it.

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

I almost got the hand cream, too, based on Liz’s review, haha! But I have sooo many and I LOVE the KS.

I had the box as an add-on in the sale and obviously was a bit upset to see that current subscribers can now get this box and customize it. I chatted with CS and they refunded the box from the sale so I could buy one now with customizations. I got the whole “As per our policy, all our sales are final and non-refundable. As a one-time courtesy, I will refund the money back and it will settle to your card within 3-5 business days.” which makes it sound like they are doing me a huge favor when really the way they went about this was actually kind of unfair to us current subscribers and I think we have a right to get a refund in this instance. But in the end, they did give me the refund so I am happy. Hope they learn from this though because I know a lot of people aren’t happy.

Why do I want this when I don’t need any of it?? I already have almost all the items. I think it’s a great box if you get to customize. My only hesitation about Edit boxes is “old stock”. I’ve been happy with almost all my add on purchases in the past but during the Fall sale I purchased a This Works lotion that was bad. It had an off smell and the ingredients were separated. It had to be trashed. I hope everyone ordering gets exactly what they want.

Laura

It was full price in the shop! I just checked my invoice and it says $49.99! This really upsets me. I wonder if I could cancel the edit sale one and actually choose my options?

Reply ButtonReply

Kc

I know- I paid full price and didn’t get to customize everything and now it’s too late. Irrr

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

I just talked to C’s and they canceled my box from the edit sale and let me repurchase with the ability to choose. Talk to them. Now if it all works out, we’ll see. 😬

Laura

I am so angry right now. I didn’t purchase other things in the edit sale so I could afford the box! Now I feel REALLY cheated.

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

Omg, I literally removed this box from my Edit Sale cart at 11:40 pm the night of closing, because I knew not being able to customize meant I’d end up with everything I didn’t want (each category was a definite want vs. DO NOT want for me). Way to go, FFF, for listening to everyone about including annuals! I sincerely hope all of you who ordered in the Edit Sale either get what you want or are compensated satisfactorily. I’d be upset.

Christina

Too bad the wallet is already out of stock. I definitely don’t need another one of those blankets.

Reply ButtonReply

LB

It’s still in stock with some variations. If you really want the wallet, choose that one first and then the rest of your choices to see what other item you may have to change in order to get the wallet.

Reply ButtonReply

Lori

It shows in stock for me.

Reply ButtonReply

Redhed36

My first reaction was all these people who purchased the winter edit box in the edit sale are going to be so mad. I hope they make that right for you all.

Reply ButtonReply

Pam

Okay, so FFF comes out 4 times a year BUT in-between those times they sell other boxes that contain old stock from their previous boxes? Is this correct?

Reply ButtonReply

LB

Technically when they “sell out” of the regular quarterly boxes they introduce Editor boxes in between for new subscribers to get immediately. But they are usually available for additional purchase by current subscribers too. And, yes, alot of the items in them are old stock (or “editor favorites” hence the name) with some new items mixed in too.

Reply ButtonReply

Pam

Thanks LB for the clarification. 🙂

LB

Well I’m kinda peeved that I bought one in the Edit sale that was totally uncustomizable now…. I did that because it sounded like FFF was no longer going to ever allow customization by existing subscribers (only for new). Ugh. Guess that’s the last time I believe rumors.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristy

Same. I reached out to attemp to cancel the one from the edit sale but they said that was impossible… I’m frustrated mostly because the question regarding possible customization was asked and answered, informing my purchase, and the immediately reversed.

Reply ButtonReply

Paige Juriga

I’ve noticed they’ve done this the last few edit box times.. learning my lesson!

Reply ButtonReply

Laura

Same here.

Reply ButtonReply

Dani

A CS rep specifically told me that this box would never be editable for current subs so I am not happy about this at all.

Reply ButtonReply

Val

They told me that too.

Jess

Same here 🙁

I just opened my 4th and final tube of my back stock of Exfolikate.I am so happy waiting for the arrival of the BF MSA special which is a new tube and now the Editor’s box allows me to choose another. Woo Hoo! I am so happy not to pay $75 full price, although I definitely would. Yes, Exfolikate is that good!!

Reply ButtonReply

Sheila

Believe me, I ‘ve been around long enough to know FFF sends the 1.7oz./$75 tube ( KS does sell a larger $85 version too, but this is still a true deal.

Reply ButtonReply

Wendy

Looking at the picture, it looks like it is the small size.

Reply ButtonReply

Karen

The closeup photo of the individual items in this box on the FabFitFun website shows the 1.7 oz version, which is the $75 one (the $24 version is only .5 oz)…fingers crossed anyway.

Sarah

I got this mostly for the scarf… hoping to be able to resell enough items to make up at least half the cost of the box.

btw – so who’s picking up another color block blanket? lolz

Reply ButtonReply

Karen

Believe it or not I actually picked the color block blanket! My dog totally loved shredding the last one, so I know I’ll make her year when I appear with a new one she can rip to pieces. She’s pretty tiny and doesn’t have the ability (or opportunity) to truly shred much of anything but that soft, fragile blanket was perfect for her. She barked and growled and violently whipped it around like an attack dog in the K-9 unit! It was hysterical for such a pampered puff ball. So now she has a second chance to feel super tough again, like all her big tough doggie friends!

So I was actually thrilled when that blanket was an option in this box, but it’s quite possible I was the only person on the planet to feel that way! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Jodi

I put the blanket on the back of the couch because our cat likes to lay up there and I didn’t want it to get dirty. It’s soft and she loves it.

Rochelle

Sweetest post on MSA ever! I’m picturing your little dog so happy! She is lucky to have you!

Nicole R

😂😂😂 ❤️ I’m imagining your little dog feeling so proud of herself. You’re a good dog mom.

Paige Juriga

haha omg, this is great, thank you! My dogs’ (multiple) MANICURED nails get stuck in this thing so yeah, have at it!

C

Are new subscribers able to pick all 4 options?

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Finally!!!! I don’t mind paying full price if I get the same customizing options as the people getting a deal! That’s what always kept me from grabbing a second or editors box!

Reply ButtonReply

Holly

As a seasonal purchasing it in the shop Monday I was able to pick all four choices. I did have to pay full price, $49.99, but getting all the items I wanted was huge.

Reply ButtonReply

Flora

The scarf is nice but there are more things I don’t want than do, no FOMO here.

Reply ButtonReply

Svetlana7e

I ordered one just because I wanted this scarf so badly.

Reply ButtonReply

Karen

Me too! Just the scarf alone for $50 is a great deal. Add in the exfolikate, the glam glow masks, another spondgelle, those cute prep bowls…the list goes on and on…how could I NOT order this??? Yay!

Reply ButtonReply

DonnaG

Those cute bowls go for 6 for $18 at Anthropologie, and they have more color choices. That is why I am hesitating on this box.
