  1. Like others, I don’t understand their vision or focus. The copper and crane is probably amazing, I have another of their line which I love but not enough for me to spend the cost of the box. The other items…. an after thought? I dunno, I’m confused on this one.

  2. It’s nearly the end of Jan and they’ve not sent boxes out yet?

  3. Anyone signing up make sure you check website for which box you will be receiving. On their site they are advertising the November box. Click on ‘What’s inside’.

    • I emailed them and they said I’m getting January and it would ship soon.

  4. Any discounts available?

  5. I don’t care if it relates to Cosmo magazine or not. I’m also not sure how anyone can say it doesn’t relate. Women’s topics would include tea, edibles, and body creams, would they not? I like the contents I’m seeing, so I’m getting it. I don’t understand all the hate on this box. I understand the past ones, but not this one in particular.

    • I agree with you on this. For $35 it is not bad, and I am genuinely and surprisingly excited about the Tea Forte cup.
Other Cosmo boxes have been appalling so I get why there is some hate about those boxes but this one, not so much.

      • The cup is what got me on this one. I think it’s just what I need to help me switch from coffee to tea.

      • You’ll love the cup! I have 2 now! They’re amazing quality!

    • Well said!

    • It’s just that they don’t seem to have found their niche yet: What is their focus? Who is their target age group? Which longer-existing subs are they trying to compete with? This box seems like an attempt to jump in on the sub box craze, but without doing the deep research that’s required now to succeed in this saturated market. They clearly haven’t recruited sub box veterans to run this show, or all these factors would have been clarified by now. Perhaps, like Allure, the items are whatever their advertisers are pushing at the moment, hence the lack of curation.

I like the idea of the body cream but not the other items, so this is not worth $37 to me. I’ll wait for the spoilers on the next box. It’s nice that with spoilers on MSA, we can pick and choose which box to receive.

      • I am more bothered by how extremely disorganized they are. January 17th and they are still releasing spoilers for January – really now.

      • And there was no December box. They say they’re monthly. The problem before was that their paying and shipping schedule was all over the place. They took a break to get it together but it’s already no better.

I gave them another shot in November, and it was a pretty good box. A little false advertising, as they claimed it was one of the hottest NEW eyeshadow palettes and they sent a palette that’s at Nordstrom Rack/HauteLook, which means on clearance. But then no December box, so I cancelled.

They of course billed me at the end of December, but at least they were kind enough to refund me with zero hassle when I asked them to, and pointed out that I had cancelled and why.

I really want to like this box, as I love almost all things Cosmo, and I’m okay with a wildly different assortment every month, but I need more consistency in billing and shipping, so I can plan my discretionary expenses.

  6. I have only subscribed to one box which included Sunday Riley full size C serum, after that the boxes did not tempt me. I think I will pass on this one.

  7. Good grief, how is this even related to Cosmo?

    • RxBars are showing up in every non-vegan food subscription (and fitness subscription) I receive. They are also all over the checkout lines at Whole Foods, etc. What a strange thing to be a spoiler.

    • Maybe, not so much the ‘sexy cosmo’ thing they tried before and everyone was confused and hated on that too. The poor box can’t win.. I think they just need to focus on some themes like one of their boxes was like a ‘best of cosmo’ skincare that seemed to gain supporters back. I think this box is more of a new year healthy type with the tea and rx bar- if they had focused on more health related items it would probably work well. I still want that body cream though! I’m happy so far. I just wish they shipped closer to mid-month like they used to.

  8. If I sign up today will I get this box?

  9. You mean this hasn’t shipped yet? Lol

    • They usually ship VERY LATE in the month, like the last days of the month. I’m not concerned because I’m used to it. But you will get it… lol

  10. We are more than halfway into January already, and they are still giving out spoilers one by one?
    What an “awesome” sub, ahem.
