Switch 2 Pure December 2018 Review

There isn't a specific info card that details the included products, but there is a small square card with their Instagram + Facebook handles and a handwritten note.

Yuni Shower Sheets Body Wipe, single sheet - Retail Value $3.00

This would be a great product to keep in an emergency overnight kit or to bring to the gym. While I am not one to work out, they also suggest this to freshen up while camping or traveling. I can see this getting used when trapped in an airport during holiday travel. Most importantly, it's alcohol-free so it won't dry out your skin once you use it. It also includes neem (natural antibacterial), peppermint, and citrus so you know it smells like a dang dream! The sheet is a nice size 13 x 9.5 inches, so you can hit all the places that get stinky with just one wipe. The more I talk about this, the more useful it seems. Seriously though, it smells awesome!

Amaki Rose Water, 4 oz. - Retail Value $15.00

This bottle contains only 100% natural rose water. It's great as a toner, but can also be used for one of my favorite things... to mix with powder clay masks instead of water! It brings an extra level of luxury to any mask. I have to say though, as a toner to spritz directly onto my face, this mist isn't fine enough and a little too squirty. The other uses are listed on the box it came in as well- make upsetting, hair treatment (after shampooing), or an eye brightener. These are all new to me so I'll be trying them all! I love the simple design and glass bottle as well, so I can even use it for something else once it's gone. 🙂

French Girl Le Lip Tint in Ambre Rose - Retail Value $18.00

I was excited to see a product from French Girl in this box this month since I've seen it at retailers I love like Madewell and Anthropologie. Even though I love bold matte lipsticks, sometimes I want to seem impossibly fresh and clean, so this barely tinted balm is the perfect product to achieve that on my lips. It's really hydrating and has a subtle tint that nearly matches my natural lip color to give it a slight boost. I'll gladly toss this in my purse to keep my pout kissable.

Pursoma Botanicals Bain De Pied Recovery Foot Soak, 2 oz. - Retail Value $12.00

One thing I don't do enough is getting pedicures. As much as we all use our feet, I don't think most of us treat them as nicely as we should. Not much seems that out of place at the MSA office, so while I could be soaking my feet at my desk as I type this, the directions also call for me to wrap my feet afterward without rinsing for up to 30 minutes so I'd rather be at home while doing so. This soak contains course sea salt with fancy stuff like wild-harvested seaweed, green algae, and steamed distilled essential oils from geranium, cypress, yarrow, juniper berry, and ginger root. I can really smell the ginger root and overall this has a minty/spicy scent to it that is sure to soothe my achy feet! I don't have plans tonight, so I know what I'll be doing...

Lebon Cap Ferrat Mood Fresh Mint Toothpaste, 0.86 oz. travel size - Retail Value $11.50

I was amped to see toothpaste in the box because I am all about dental hygiene! It actually took me a minute to realize what it was because the package looks like a fancy lotion. This toothpaste is all natural and uses ingredients that won't harshly scrub your teeth. It tasted fresh and clean at first but then the off taste crept in. Oh no. It immediately reminded me of the aftertaste I dislike from certain packaged drinks and teas. I looked at the ingredients and immediately found the culprit- Stevia! Some people prefer a natural sugar substitute, but I am not one of them. Sadly, I will not be using this fancy toothpaste due to the aftertaste. So sad!

Verdict: I think that Switch 2 Pure is really upping its game lately. I find the brands they're sending to be great and am discovering new ones all the time. Aside from the toothpaste, I thoroughly enjoyed all five items included that totaled a retail value of $59.50. Sadly, the value compared to the $57.00 cost isn't all that impressive, but I did get things I enjoyed.

I agree about the taste of stevia, it has been creeping into more teas lately and I am not a fan.

This looks like a nice box, but I don’t like the idea of paying full price. I could just order the items I want on my own. I just don’t see the point to pay full price for each item, especially if you don’t care for every product.
