Rebecca Mail “Celebrate Autumn” Review
Here’s the info booklet for this “Celebrate Autumn” box! They break down all the items in the box with little explanations of what makes them special/why they were included.
LOF Snuggly Fall Shawl – Listed Value $29.99
At first, I couldn’t tell what this was – it has more of a rectangular blanket shape than a poncho or wrap. I love the warm olive color and how soft it is, it’s definitely snuggly and warm! To me, it has the perfect cozy thickness and is perfect to keep in my home office to drape over me on cold winter days! I’ve not heard of this brand before, it looks like LOF (Love of Fashion) is an NYC fashion brand that only sells to distributors and wholesalers, not the general public.
L. I. B. Autumn Plaid Zipper Clutch – Listed Value $17.99
To me, there’s nothing more autumn than plaid and I love that this navy and red print can carry seamlessly into winter. This flannel pouch is about 8” x 6” and about 2” wide at the base. It can hold all of your essentials – keys, phone, makeup – and be used as a cute accessory clutch or a smaller bag inside of your later everyday type of tote. Definitely fun and functional! It’s fully lined in black polyester and features a leather pull on the zipper as well as a leather L.I.B. branded tag inside.
Handmade Ceramic Bead Necklace – Listed Value $22.00
This necklace is so beautiful! It has an adjustable leather strap, allowing you to customize the length to your outfit. The leather strap is brown and adorned with the most beautiful ceramic beads that are glazed in maroon, off-white, and teal – with a fringe of little black beads hanging from it.
This is a close up of the beads. Aren’t they lovely?
And here it is on, no one was home to help me take a photo, so please excuse the selfie angle! I think this is such a fun, casual weekend necklace to sport with jeans!
Hair Tie Cuff Bracelet – Listed Value $12.99
I was so pleased to see this in the box! I actually purchased one recently. I’m the type of person that had to be reminded to take the hair tie off of her wrist in her wedding photos, so I definitely can appreciate a gentle approach to dressing up my hair crutch. The bracelet is gold in color (not sure the brand or metal used) and about ¼” wide. It comfortably fits my wrist. I received a black hair tie, but like that it can be used with other ties that I have on hand as well.
Here it is the bracelet on my wrist with and without the hair tie. I like it!
Mainly Coffee Cascara Chi Coffee Fruit Tea – Listed Value $4.00
This tea did smell very good – heavily like cloves and cinnamon. Personally, I did not like the flavor of the tea once it was brewed since I liked the scent so much I decided to just use it in a simmering pot to make the whole house smell yummy. It worked great for that!
From Mainly Coffee:
This flavorful tea is our take on a traditional tea that has been consumed for centuries in Yemen. Consisting of a special blend of spices including cardamom, cloves, ginger, and two types of cinnamon mixed with cascara this bold tea is delicious both as a hot beverage on a cold day and as a refreshing iced tea.
Autumn Washi Tape – Listed Value $3.50
How adorable is this pumpkin and fall leaf adorned washi tape? As a toddler mom, I’m hugely into decorating and I find that washi tape is the perfect way to add an extra special touch to his artwork that I hang!
Rebecca Mail Exclusive Card – Listed Value $4.50
This sweet little notecard is blank on the inside and features an autumn wreath with fall leaves and mushrooms on the front. It’s a standard 3” x 5” card and I know this will make the day of whomever the lucky recipient is!
Volcanic Bubble Sheet Mask – Retail Value $3.99, Listed Value $5.00
Typically, I’m a big fan of bubble masks but this one was not for me. I wasn’t crazy about the scent (kind of “tart”) and it didn’t fit my face well. I found it difficult to unwrap and it didn’t get nearly as bubbly as some of the others that I used. While I didn’t enjoy the 10 minutes I had it on, my skin did feel clean and tight after so I think the treatment was a success.
Chuao Chocolatier Honeycomb Chocolate Mini Bar (0.39 oz) – Listed Value $2.50 (Buy a Full Size 2.8 oz. Bar for $6.00)
Yum! This dark chocolate bar contains caramelized honey bits, giving it a sweet toffee-like crunch.
KIND Bar Dark Chocolate Mocha Almond – Listed Value $1.95 (Buy 4 for $5.29)
I always keep KIND bars on hand for quick snacks, and this is one of my favorite flavors. I was glad to see it in the box!
Verdict: I really loved this box and I’m bummed that it’s the last one of its type. The accessories were trendy, of good quality, and functional. There were a few misses for me (the tea and the sheet mask) but those were a low value compared to the total cost of the box. The box costs $41.00 including shipping, and I received 10 items, breaking the average cost per item down to only $4.10. I think this is a great value!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. This box has been decommissioned. You can, however, still sign up for their Snail Mail box!
Value Breakdown: This box costs $41.00 (cost + shipping), but the featured items had a value of approximately $104.42. That means that I paid approximately the following for the featured items in the box:
- Shawl $11.78
- Clutch $7.06
- Necklace $8.64
- Bracelet $5.10
- Tea $1.57
- Tape $1.37
