Smartass & Sass December 2018 Review
Our Smartass & Sass box came with a folded pamphlet with the theme on the front, a thank you on the back and all of the information for our products on the inside. The theme for this month is "Let's Get Lit" and I think it's a great plan for the holidays! I like that they included pictures, descriptions, listed values and even links where we can find the items, in addition to a spoiler for the next month.
Sweetercards Boom Mic Drop Chocolate Bar - Retail Value $8.99
This chocolate bar is a decent size at 3.5oz. and I love the fun packaging! The top flap opens up to reveal a card which you could sign and even add a little note to it if you were gifting it to someone.
While it would make a great gift, it also made a delicious and decadent treat for me. (Sorry, not sorry!) Look at those big pieces of sea salt! They added an amazing salty crunch and inside this bittersweet dark chocolate was a sweet gooey layer of caramel. So good! I'd definitely purchase this again if I wanted to treat someone...err myself.
Save Money or YOLO Oversized Tote Bag - Retail Value $18.00?
I had to link to a bag in their shop with a different saying (which is probably more appropriate for me 'Tired as a Mother'), but the bag I received does sum my financial savvy up pretty well. While I'm not one for huge sayings on my bags, this one is such an amazing size that I will definitely be using it. The dimensions are 17 1/2"x20" x7" and to give you an idea of size, in the upright photos, I placed my S&S box inside (standing up, not flat) and it only reached about halfway. It's just a basic canvas tote, but the size will be perfect for groceries or lugging around things for the kids. I actually think I'll be able to use it this holiday season to transport presents easily!
S&S I'm Already Tired Tomorrow Planner - Listed Value $10
This planner is an exclusive S&S product and features a page for your contact information at the front and nice big calendar pages for you to keep track of your days. The design is fun and the colors are great, too.
The back of the planner even has a few pages for notes. This is a cute product going into the new year and I like that it's a thinner notebook which means it won't take up too much space in your bag or desk!

Glamour Dolls Limited Edition Sperm Whale Brush - Retail Value $4.99
This cute eyeshadow brush features longer, synthetic bristles for better blending. This brush is vegan and cruelty-free and goes nicely with our next item!
Glamour Dolls Custom Eyeshadow in "Get Lit" - Listed Value $1.25
I love that this shade was created custom for the box! How fun is that? This loose eyeshadow is a nice shimmery brown that has decent pigmentation and seems really buildable. It goes on pretty dark so it will be great to add some sparkle to your eyes for an evening look. They recommend applying it to the corner of your lids to get a nice brightening effect and I will definitely be trying that out. This formula is also vegan and lip safe if you want to really amp up your look!
Govino Cheers B*tches Wine Glass - Retail Value $8.95?
This fun wine glass is the perfect accessory to help us "get lit" this season. Govino glasses are great because they are lightweight and can travel anywhere because they are made of shatterproof, reusable, BPA-free plastic. This is also dishwasher safe which is always great and that little notch on the side makes it easy to hold onto it. The phrase is fun and subtle enough with the white text on the clear glass. Wine Lines Sassy Drink Markers - Retail Value $8.00 (currently out of stock)
These stretchy silicone Wine Lines are such a great alternative to wine charms! Our main wine glass set is stemless so these will be perfect to use when we have guests over and need a way to identify wine glasses. It will also be fun to assign a different sassy word to each of my friends!

The Verdict: This was a great box from Smartass & Sass this month! While I'm not sure everything really had a "Let's get Lit" feel, I still think it was a great mix of items that definitely covered a lot of the bases. From a delicious chocolate bar to wine accessories and a giant tote bag, they all fell into the category of things I love and included just a hint of sass. I know I'll be using each of the items in this box, with the exception of the wine glass which will go to my younger sister, only because I have enough glasses already and I think it will make a fun gift for her. The total value of the items came to $62.68 which is a great value for the $41.85 cost of this box.
