Limited Edition Kid Goku on Nimbus Enamel Pin – Listed Value $12.00

This pin is so highly detailed. I love that they thought to add glitter to Nimbus. Each pin is a limited edition in a series of 500 and individually laser-engraved with the number of your specific pin on the back.

One Piece T-Shirt – Listed Value $20

This is a pretty iconic scene in the Dragon Ball Z Vegeta Saga. I actually remember rushing home from school to watch this episode! The quick summary (from my memory!) is that Vegeta turned into his Oozaru form and was totally just dominating Goku, who decided to create a Genkidama (spirit bomb) to defeat him. It is a really cool shirt and like the pin is numbered in its limited edition run. My husband was kind enough to model it for a photo.

Banpresto Super Saiyan Gohan Figure – Listed Value $30.00

This figure is so detailed! It has interchangeable heads and arms and the cape is removable. They did a really great job on the colors and paint chosen for this model. I especially love the shading on his clothing. Each part comes individually wrapped to keep them safe and the figure is just a wee bit under a foot tall.

Super Saiyan Trunks Throw Blanket – Listed Value $20.00

Trunk and Piccolo are by far my favorite DBZ characters. Although there was no sign of my favorite green anti-hero in this box, at least Trunks made it (in my opinion) on to the coolest piece! This super soft and warm fleece throw is illustrated with a stylized silhouette of him in all his glory. It is a lot more subtle than it has to be, in minimal in shades of blue and black, which I love because I generally leave all fandom decor items out of my living room. Trunks just might end up on my couch though. He can sit with us.

Dragon Ball Shikishi Art – Listed Value $5.00

This was one of 16 possible variants you could receive in your box this month. Looks like we got Goku Black, a character I am not super familiar with but if I remember correctly he is kind of a total jerk and a sadist. This was from the Future Trunks Saga and involved a lot of time manipulation, which is always nearly impossible for me to follow. Regardless, this is a very cool piece and I love the inky style of it. It is mounted on thick cardstock and edged in gold.

Verdict: This Lootaku box was absolutely for a die-hard DBZ fan. Since it was something I was much more into when I was younger, I found it really nostalgic! Though I didn’t know all of the references in this crate, I knew enough to enjoy the theme and appreciate the variety of products and the great quality behind them. My favorite piece would absolutely be the throw. I can’t wait to fight my husband for it. The overall estimated value of this box is approximately $87, which is a good value for a $44.99 box. Each month is a different anime theme, and I feel lucky I got to review this DBZ one since I knew about this fandom already.

When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.
