IN YOUR CASE NOVEMBER 2018 REVIEW - Monster Pencil Case Vertical Front

Monster Pencil Case

The first item we received was this red pencil case with a yellow DJing one-eyed monster.

It is a red leather-like material and has a black zipper. It is pretty roomy, fitting a standard size pen or pencil with some extra room.

IN YOUR CASE NOVEMBER 2018 REVIEW - Monster Journal Front

Monster Journal

This journal features all sorts of monsters and designs on the cover.

There are 80 lined pages in the notebook. My favorite part of this notebook is the date area in the top right corner.

Blue & White Multi Designed Washi Tapes, 4 rolls

The next items we received are these four rolls of washi tapes. I got a triangle design, blue and white dots, multi blue colored raindrops (my favorite) and a paint-like blue and white design. The washi tapes are pretty skinny measuring at half a centimeter.

IN YOUR CASE NOVEMBER 2018 REVIEW - Handcraft Scissors Packaged Front

Handcraft Scissors

This was probably the coolest thing I have ever received in a craft box ever. I love the way it looks like a pen and is so small in size, it is perfect for my purse!

The black piece slides down to reveal finger holes and voila! Instant scissors!

IN YOUR CASE NOVEMBER 2018 REVIEW - Handcraft Scissors 4 Front

I cannot even begin to explain how many times I have used my keys to try to cut something off of last minute needed new shoes or a jacket (and just recently a hot sauce packet for my convenience store burrito). Definitely a cool inclusion!

Monster Bookmark Chain

This was a pretty neat bookmark. It’s the same little yellow one-eyed monster that we received on our pencil case attached to a silver chain.

He dangles perfectly on the page you want to save.

The clip is sort of small so you can only hold a few pages vs a lot. I don’t really see this as a problem, though.

Red Monster Gel Ink Pen

Recognize this monster? He was on the journal except he was smiling and throwing out a peace sign. On our pen, he looks very monster-ish with his scary face. This pen is pretty skinny and writes smoothly with a black gel ink.

IN YOUR CASE NOVEMBER 2018 REVIEW - Mini Stapler & Staples Packaged Front

IN YOUR CASE NOVEMBER 2018 REVIEW - Mini Stapler & Staples Unboxed Front

Mini Stapler & Staples

The mini stapler is really super cute, in a light pink with a baby blue and pink pattern on the top.

IN YOUR CASE NOVEMBER 2018 REVIEW - Mini Stapler & Staples Open

It came with 800 mini staples in blue, green, yellow gold and magenta.

At first, it was a little difficult getting it to actually staple. If you opened it, you would see the part where you load the staples, but it wouldn’t staple! Upon inspection of the stapler, I discovered this on the top of the inside. We push it down to set it up to staple and when we are done, we push it up to lock the stapler and keep it tiny.

IN YOUR CASE NOVEMBER 2018 REVIEW - a stapled page Top

Behold a stapled page.

Verdict: This was the first time I received In Your Case and I’d say I enjoyed it. I liked how the majority of the items really tied into one another, the only items that were different, or out of theme, was the washi tape, stapler, and scissors. I was not able to find the value of the items online, but I would say that this box meets its value!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will get the December box.

We ship our monthly boxes on the 10th of each month. Orders placed by the end of the month will ship out on the 10th.

Value Breakdown: The box costs $34.98 ($29.99 + $4.99 shipping) which means that each of the items in the box has an average cost of $4.99.

I am a mother of 2 going on 3 soon and enjoy the little things in life, especially in surprise form! Monthly subscription boxes give me that surprise every time I see the mailman delivering them! My favorite boxes include beauty boxes, lifestyle boxes and anything pregnancy-related boxes; my all time favorite is my FabFitFun subscription.
