Fabletics VIP Membership Winter Fitness Clothing Review + Coupon – November 2018
Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $19.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
The key takeaway here is that this subscription won’t automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

Fabletics VIP Membership Winter Workout Top & Leggings Review
I got a few promotional cards in this month’s package. The first was for Chanel…
Breathe Outfit, Size Medium Tops, Size Large Bottoms – Member Price $79.95
This is the first Fabletics look that I’ve bought that sold out before I got to write up my review for it! I’m not surprised—this three-piece look is just what the doctor ordered in terms of winter workout looks. It’s just cozy enough without being stuffy, and the colors are right up my alley. Because it’s not on the site anymore, I’m not able to compare the retail and member prices, but typically, what I pay as a member is around $30+ less than what Fabletics lists their outfits as at retail. (For instance, this $79.95 outfit currently listed on the site retails for $154.90!)
Let’s break down the look! First, there’s this ballet-pink long-line top, called the Delta Seamless Midi Bralette. There’s just a smidge of padding in there, so it’s not the most supportive bra in the world, but I love the crop-top cut. I recently wore this smooth, soft top (along with the rest of my outfit) to a spin class. I was newer to the studio, so I didn’t feel quite comfortable enough to just do a sports bra—this top was perfect since it’s just as freeing as a sports bra while providing a little more coverage. Pair it with super-high-waisted leggings like the ones I got in this outfit, and I felt just covered enough.
The seamless high-waisted leggings (sold individually here) are new faves of mine. Not only do they sit super high on my hips—they also have a smooth, sleek fit. (They’re not made from the thicker, brushed-cotton-like fabric of Fabletics’ Powerhold leggings, which I typically opt for. Don’t get me wrong, the Powerhold leggings are amazing, but this seamless pair felt so nice and light, especially in a spin class where my legs want to be able to move freely and easily.) The mesh detail is cool, too.
The last part of this look is this awesome Brisa terry pullover. It’s oversized for extra comfort. Plus it has a hood to keep me warm during my brisk post-workout walk through a snowy night to the car. The fabric isn’t terribly thick, though. If I’m brave enough to skip a coat on the way into the gym, then it’s more than enough coverage on my warm, sweaty body as I leave. Hooray for not needing to shove a huge coat into a locker!
The Verdict: I’m so smitten with this latest Fabletics look! The fabrics were all so comfortable—they were easy to move in while still holding me in and staying put. And the pullover makes this ensemble perfect for chilly days. I have to say, the ballet pink and black color scheme make me feel rather elegant, too!

Value Breakdown: This three-piece outfit cost $79.95. Because it’s not on the site anymore, I can’t check out what the retail price will be. (My order history only referenced the member price!) But other similarly member-priced outfits go for $100+!
