I find ZenPop’s info sheet to be really helpful since a lot of the packaging isn’t in English. It gives you a rundown of each item and this month’s theme is the “Bunny Rabbit.”

Sticky Memos

In Japan, the moon viewing is celebrated in October, where thanks is given for the rice harvest. It’s also thought that the patterns on the moon look like a rabbit making mochi – can you see the rabbit on these little sticky notes? This little notepad contains 30 sheets and is around 3” in diameter.

Mini Letter Set (3 pack)

If you love bunnies, these tiny letters will give you the perfect forum to write a little love note. I’m thinking these are perfect to include as a special note in a school lunch! The envelopes are 2″ x 3″ inches, and 6 sheets of 4” x 3” paper is included in the set.

Clip Notes (12 pack)

I’m a big fan of binder clips! These are perfect to hold your page, and I even think that I might keep them in my nightstand for an easy bookmark. There are 4 each of 3 different designs, and they’re about 3” total in length and about 1” wide.

Before reading the insert, I didn’t know that the pink bunny and the white bird were best friends – but apparently, they are. These are cute little decorative seals that go along well with the theme of the box.

Constellation Washi Tape – Retail Value $3.00

In Japan, Zodiac signs are used for fortune telling. This practice is so common, that some of the popular morning shows even have a segment where they do fortune telling each day. Regardless of the reason, this navy washi tape featuring gold constellations is very pretty and a welcome addition to my collection.

The card I received says “It’s a little late but” on the front and “Please forgive me! Happy Birthday!” on the inside. It features the same pink bunny and white bird best friends set, and an adorable polka-dotted envelop!

A glue stamp? You don’t say… This nifty gadget works great! If you’re gluing a piece of paper, you only need to stamp the 4 corners for a mess-free adhesive look. Gone are the days of the endless Elmer’s glue drizzles and ridges in your soggy construction paper! The insert says that this little beauty can be used around 500 times – awesome!

I received a violet version of this erasable color pen. I was pleased since so many of the stationery items have pink and purple hues on them this month.

Bonus Item: Luna Plush Toy

This one is for subscribers only, so if you buy the pack as a one-time purchase, you won’t get this item. This little plush toy was a favorite of my puppy Harry. I’m glad I took it’s photo as soon as I opened the box because Luna didn’t last until sunset in my home!

Verdict: ZenPop Stationery Pack had a great variety of cute stationary items. I actually liked all of the items this month and felt that they delivered exactly what I would expect from a stationery subscription. Overall, I was pleased and felt like the box itself was a good value, although I couldn’t really find many of the items online.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, December will be your first box.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $29.50 + free shipping, which means that each of the 10 items in the box (not including the bonus) has an average cost of $2.95.

Colette’s subscription addiction started innocently enough with a few beauty boxes in 2013. As her life has evolved, so have her subscriptions – and some of her favorites now include boxes that cater towards lifestyle (Popsugar Must Have), pets (BarkBox), and children (Gap Outfit Box and Mac & Mia).

  1. Is Marne slowly leaving MSA? I’ve noticed the boxes she used to review are being done by others now

    • Nope! We just periodically try to switch boxes up sometimes, and let reviewers switch boxes, try new boxes, etc. 🙂
