Deciding whether to treat yourself to a women's subscription box is easy. (Hello? You totally should! You deserve it!) The harder decision is picking which subscription box is right for you. Especially if you're new to subscriptions, a lot of the women's lifestyle boxes can seem really similar. (Fun gifts! Beauty items! Boxes curated just for you!) So, what's the difference? Is there a difference?

For years now, we've reviewed ALL of the top women's boxes. We've seen the nuanced ways these big-name boxes differ from one another, and we're breaking it down to help you get the absolute best experience for your money.

Here, we'll be covering the most popular women's subscription boxes, but there's a world of options to explore. Check out all of our women's subscription box reviews, or shop our full list of women's subscription boxes!

The items inside each box consistently make good on the cool factor promised by the branding—the home and stationery items, beauty products, accessories, and other surprises exude sleek, polished style with pops of urban attitude. Hey, flowery patterns and delicate jewelry are awesome, but if that's just not your thing, Happy Rebel is here for you.

I just noticed PS in my Fed Ex tracking. It’s coming out of New York and is 10 lbs. So excited to see what else is in there…

My favorite woman’s box is Margot Elena. I’m getting my second Popsugar vox and I’m liking that as well. I got one FFF box – but the items there are a bit hit/miss for me so will only get it if I like most of the spoilers. I got one Cause box but it was just OK – from the spoilers it seemed we would be getting a leather and canvas bag based on equivalent RV/style bags from the website. But the bag we got was plastic/cloth – silly to send a vegan bag from a not vegan brand. It was pretty cheap quality and very wrinkly so haven’t used or gifted yet. I haven’t gotten box of style (though very tempted by the last one – but not the latest one.) Happy Rebel looks great so I might try it out. I got the latest Pusheen box and it was super cute as well. And I really like 5th Ave Style despite the slow shipping – I hope they come out with another box soon!

Box of Style is a disaster. Extremely over-inflated RV for their special collaborated items. I have used barely anything from these boxes and their customer service is very iffy. Never again.

You should add Happy Rebel box to this post!

I totally agree!

I love Happy Rebel. Their boxes seem to be getting even better over time. And, unlike a lot of other boxes (e.g., FFF), I’ve never had any quality issues with any of the things I’ve received.

I have to agree with the comment about the Rachel Zoe Box of Style. I used to be an annual subscriber and loved the boxes, but canceling is a huge pain, and it always made me feel sick to my stomach when the price dropped for new subscribers and I was getting hosed for pre-paying. When I canceled they told me they would cancel my account the day before the next billing cycle, then I got charged for a whole year when they forgot to cancel my account! I was furious. Get your act together Rachel Zoe!

Hmm I was a seasonal for BOS then became an annual and never had any problems with their CS or canceling. In fact, my annual subscription just ended. I emailed them to cancel a few weeks ago, heard back from them immediately, checked and found that my account page showed it was canceled, and today I got an email saying my subscription was canceled before the winter billing cycle. But I do agree there’s just enough benefits for annual members, especially every time when seeing the box go on sale a few weeks later.

Just FYI ~ When I “tried” to cancel, I also got an email that said that they would cancel the day before billing??? I knew that would never happen (it was months off and I wanted to cancel that day) ……. I wrote a complaint on their FB page under their most recent post and left a 1 star rating (I forget where but it was linked to that page as well… ) I got a response later that day………. it was cancelled immediately at that time……. but why let it come to that?? I don’t have the time or the patience to deal with their horrible customer service…… so, NEVER AGAIN!! I gave them 2 chances…… one too many headaches!!!

Kelly

Right?!? Why let it come to that! I did get a refund for the yearly fee they had charged me, but it taught me a lesson to never trust them!

Julie

Good article but when it comes to Rachel Zoe you kind of need to point out that customer service is lacking, the box generally goes on sale after it’s revealed and being an annual just doesn’t make sense. That and shipping last year left many people without the earrings and clutches they were intending on using for holiday parties well into January. Even Liz tends to write a disclaimer to check comments in the Rachel Zoe box. Or maybe something along the lines of this is one of my favorite boxes but there have been some subscriber complaints so read comments in previous reviews for the whole point picture. I get you you guys don’t go through the delay or feeling jipped when you paid $100 and it drops to $70 in a week.
