Proper Post October 2018 Review
Hoorah! Hoorah! Hoorah! Card
I LOVE this card! It immediately stood out to me due to its perfect square shape, measuring at 5 ¾ inches all the way around. I also love the way it has a sketch-like design.
The card is paired with a grey envelope and is blank on the inside for a perfect message! I hope we continue to get some more square cards, they really are the best!
For You Card
My favorite part about this card is its simplicity. The words appear to be painted on and I like that; its very artsy. This card is paired with a light grey envelope and is blank on the inside for a message or illustration.
Notecards – Set of 4
This is the first set of notecards I have received in a Proper Post parcel and I am digging them! We got four in a black and white theme, all different designs: Thank You in polka dots, Congrats in squigglies, Miss You in dashes, and Just Because in X’s and O’s.
The cards are blank on the other side and are paired with off-white envelopes. I do wish they were a true white, though, I wasn’t crazy about the off-white envelopes, but it isn’t a deal breaker and I love this item.
Bow Tie Sticky Flags
Ooooh! I love LOVE these! I am a sucker for stickies and these are no exception! We got them in three different shades of grey: light grey, grey, and slate grey. Each color has about 20, so I have 60 flags that I can (and will!) use in my files at work. This is another item I hope to see more of!
Be Happy Be Bright Be You Card
This was my card I selected for the month and I am pretty happy with it! I love the colors: bright pink and yellow.
And I really love the bright yellow envelope! Like all of Proper Post’s cards, this one is blank on the inside for that perfect message.
Verdict: I am really pleased with this month’s parcel; probably the happiest I’ve ever been. Being here in the States and paying such a steep price for shipping, items like notecards and stickies bring more value and have more use than pages of artwork. I was so relieved to not receive artwork this month! I do hope to see more square shaped greeting cards and more stickies of all kinds! Be it flags or post-it notes.
