Heart + Honey Queen Bee Box November 2018 Review
This month's Heart + Honey theme is "Aphrodite". You just know the box themed after THE goddess of love, beauty, and sex is going to be amazing.

Aphrodite Sacred Ritual Oil, 0.5 oz. - Retail Value $15.50
Rose fans rejoice! This first item is a ritual oil that is heavily scented with roses, ylang-ylang, and geranium. Floating in this little bottle are rose petals and rose quartz. As a mineral nerd I appreciate rose quartz being included because, in addition to the color being on theme, this particular quartz is directly tied to the heart chakra and is well known as the stone of love. This oil smells and feels incredibly luxurious and makes a great addition to your bath ritual. I enjoyed it on my arms and legs after a warm soak.
Chalcedony and Sterling Silver Earrings - Estimated Value $54.99?
While I could not find these exact earrings for a retail value, I did find some super similar here from the same designer. The Heart and Honey curators chose this beautiful Chalcedony stone as a nod to the sea foam from which Aphrodite emerged. It was really nice to have a little color variety in this box, as everything else was in shades of pink, some MUCH brighter than others, as you will see a little further into this review. As someone with metal allergies, I really appreciate that these are on sterling silver wires. They are beautiful and delicate and I just love them.
Aphrodite Sugar Scrub, 4oz.- Retail Value $8.95
Another Anita Apothecary Aphrodite bath product! I love that this perfectly complements the ritual oil that also came in this box. This beautiful sugar scrub has the same scent and is beautifully filled with crushed rose petals. The whole formula feels so incredibly special. I used it in the bath on my hands and elbows and then followed up with the oil and I feel so pretty and feminine. I love this brand and fully plan on frequenting the owner's Etsy store for more amazing beauty products.
Veran Tri-Vibe- Retail Value $55.00
Heart and Honey always include some sort of luxury toy and this month's selection is intense. I freely admit that I am slightly intimidated by this large hot pink vibrator, but the whole point of this subscription box is a celebration of beauty and healthy sexuality! Sometimes that involves experimentation and our hot pink friend here has three different heads, a ton of different vibration strengths and modes, and is shower friendly. It can be used in so many different ways so everyone could find something that worked for their own specific needs and preferences. What's not to love?
Of course, like the rest of this box, it oozes luxury. It comes with a velvet case and in beautiful substantial packaging.
Each of the three ends of this toy has their own vibrations. It is meant to be used in a multitude of ways and you can easily get super creative!
The magnetic charging port appeals to my techy side and also allows it to be a water-friendly toy.
Sliquid Natural Intimate Lubricant, 0.17 oz. sample - Buy a 2oz. bottle for $8.00
Heart and Honey would never send such an exciting toy without some lube to go along! Natural goddesses rejoice because this formula is vegan and avoids some of those pesky ingredients that can irritate your most sensitive areas. From doing a little bit of research, it appears this lube is condom safe, but it really would have been nice to have that more clearly spelled out on the packaging. Safe sex is healthy sex!
Side note: I really wanted to make a LubriCANT! to LubriCAN! pun in this review, but I didn't know where to put it. So here we are.
Verdict: Heart + Honey is one of the most luxurious and well-curated boxes I have ever opened. Every single detail is thought out from the items themselves down to the themed sticker on the tissue paper. The value is incredible and the products are stunning. I always appreciate when a box taps independent shops to contribute and this is a brand that has consistently been including those smaller specialty makers. I adored this month's balance between beauty, femininity, and sex and felt that it absolutely delivered a truly goddess-like experience.

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Normally your subscription will start the month following the month you subscribe, but if there are current boxes still available you may be able to snag one! Heart + Honey will usually reach out when you first subscribe if you have an option.

Subscription orders are taken from the first day of the month, until the last. Renewals occur on the 15th of the month. Month-to-month subscriptions will renew on a monthly basis, and 3, 6, and 12 month subscriptions will renew in the correlating time frame. So for example, if you were to order a month-to-month subscription on the 12th of April, your first box will ship between the 1st-5th of May. Renewal will happen on the 15th of May.
