There’s a new special edition mystery box from That Daily Deal – creators of the Monthly Mystery Box of Awesome. This special edition is a one time purchase.

The Box: Mystery Santa’s Christmas Bag of Awesome!

HO! HO! HO! Like mysteries yo? You came to the right place for today’s Mystery Santa’s Christmas Bag of AWESOME! This bag isn’t just your ordinary bag….it’s LOADED with MYSTERIOUS STUFF! Whether it’s just for you or someone else, it’s going to have something in there for everyone to enjoy. Open it soon as you get it, or just sit it under the Christmas tree and wait for Christmas morning to roll around to see what mystery goodies are waiting for you inside!

Remember, these can sell out quick, so don’t miss out! Also, please excuse the man-handling of the bags…it requires a lot of power to get that crap in there! So if the bag shows up a little tattered, it was for your own good, we promise! 🙂

Note: We tried our best, but some of this stuff is so big it won’t even fit in the bag! So we’re just throwing it on top!

The Cost: $29.99 or choose the Upgraded Mystery Bag for $39.98 (same bag but with more stuff!)

Good to know: “this is one of TDD’s Mystery products, which means your order is non-returnable/non-refundable/non-exchangeable. Lastly, if you order more than one, there is a high chance you will get some of the same items in the bag.”

  1. I would not recommend this. Waste of money. I was sent a bunch of Dollar Tree reject pile things. Will throw in the donation pile. So very not happy that I wasted my money.

  2. Just received mine. I don’t know that I’ll buy this next year but I received 10 items. No fitness items. A great cloth gift sack, a very nice sherpa throw , a terrific flashlight set, several fun items for my nephew, a couple gag items a very nice insulated cup. Well worth the price no damage to the package. Fun package.

    • Yours was better than what I got. It looked like a bunch of crap from the dollar tree reject pile. I wish I would have not wasted my money on this.

    • Sounds very much like the package I recieved. However, I purchased the HUGE Bag of awesome. I am so incredibly disappointed in this purchase. The items about 13 were nice. Some fun. Some not so much, but absolutely not even close to what I paid for it. My sons were not happy that I even ordered this…I dare not tell them what I received. This really makes me sad that I took such a risk at Christmas. Oh well. Learned a lesson,

  3. Ive got one for my dad for the past few years and he loves it. It is a laughfest and there is always something in it for everyone in the family. 40 bucks and a lot of fun.

    • Has anyone received this yet?

  4. I always have fun with this! The monthly is hit or miss, but always interesting. You can’t go into it with high expectations, and you do need to be able to laugh at yourself for spending money on heaven alone knows what!!
That written, I have received lots of cool stuff (Star Wars!). Lots of nice things to gift and to keep. And some junk!! Lol

  5. “Also, please excuse the man-handling of the bags…it requires a lot of power to get that crap in there!”

Well, at least they’re up front and honest about the quality of stuff you’re getting. Lol.

  6. I did the 2016 mystery bag and didn’t even get all the stuff. They argued with me about my order then finally agreed to send me “something special” in the mail but never did. The stuff they sent was way beyond awful.

  7. I feel like a lot of people will end up with that cheap fitness promo junk they had a few moths ago. Hard pass.

    • They sent a body bag before too in the Christmas mystery box.

  8. I bought 2 years ago and was disappointed. Worst junk ever and didn’t even come in the cute cloth bag they advertised. I believe it’s random stuff so all bags may not be the same and you could luck out.

  9. “…it requires a lot of power to get that crap in there!” Lol. Well, at least they’re up front about what you’re getting.

  10. This is a cheap plastic bag full of junk. I wont ever buy again. Everything was thrown away, I couldn’t give anything away.

  11. Looking at comments under the 2016 bag I’m a bit more cautious. It looks like most everyone received nearly the exact items and the upgrades were all the same two items as well. I was imagining more a mystery bag which they stuff with leftovers from the monthly sub. Hmmm. I think I would want to see some spoilers if they are going to do a more set inventory box vs. random.

  12. I’m actually really tempted by this, lol. I like a lot of the handy kitchen stuff that has been in past bags, and lighting or Star Wars stuff is great. I wouldn’t be crazy about getting tons of fitness branded stuff, though, or just tons of Christmas themed stuff.

  13. I went for it this time. Hope I’m not disappointed. Any one else ever try this?

  14. Has anyone had good luck with this? I purchased a bunch two years ago and was extremely disappointed.

    • I bought this the, too. Load of crap. Just say no.

    • I bought this. I will never do business with them again.

      • Care to elaborate?

        • Junk. Pure and simple. Fake augmented reality head set. Bacon calendar. Loony Tunes salt and pepper shaker. I honestly cannot remember the rest. All of it was donated to the local thrift store, and I was embarresed to do so. Please save your money. Read the old reviews.

    • I can’t recommend anything from them. Very weird company. It’s like stuff that fell of a semi or was found in an abandoned warehouse. I got a casserole tote that smelled so bad of chemicals I had to throw right in the garbage, an empty bottle of hairspray, a charcoal filter for an appliance that I don’t own… just bizarre, and not in a fun way.

    • I got one last year (at least I think it was this box and not another one from monthly mystery box of awesome). I gave a couple of things as gifts, but ended up donating some things. I gave a foldable storage ottoman in a white elephant exchange and I think the recipient liked it. This could be a good box for you if you appreciate odd things or if you give holiday gifts to people who do.

      • Yup! Its great for cheap White Elephant gifts for people you dislike!

    • It’s fun!
I wouldn’t expect to get super useful stuff. It’s worth what you pay for it, lol.
