  1. I tried to reply to Ania, but there isn’t an option for me to. I hope you will see this! Glossybox apologized and asked for me to send back the red box. I told them that it would be difficult for me to return it, and that I’d prefer to just keep it. They said that if I returned it I would receive a credit, but didn’t explain what the credit would be or go towards. I am taking care of my dad full time, he has cancer, so it’s extremely difficult for me to get out to mail packages etc. So I asked if I could just keep that and forfeit the November box. They said for me to keep it and they are sending my November box anyway. They said they are required to ask for me to return it, but that they don’t require it. I’m not sure if they are going to do this for everyone, but they were kind enough to do it for me. I didn’t expect to receive the November box and this, I was mostly emailing because it was confusing. I hope you will see this! Sorry I wasn’t able to reply directly! Hope you had a Merry Christmas and wishing you a blessed New Year!

  2. This is awkward, but did anyone else get sent a box that was definitely not the November box?

    • I got something and have been wondering where it came from. I just checked the tracking for my November Glossybox and it’s this! The SkinStore 12 Miracles of Beauty set! The only way I figured it out was a checked and it shows my November Glossybox (I assume, since I subscribed on Cyber Monday & this was my first shipment?) was delivered & I checked and the tracking numbers match! Is that what you got??

      • I think that might be it. Aren’t they from different companies though? What do you think should be done about it? Should I let them know?

          I’m not sure. I googled this item because I was like, I know I didn’t order this.. I thought someone sent it as a gift haha! But I did see that Glossybox also had an Advent box, and I saw this called the Advent box on the SkinStore website. I’m very curious and confused myself. I think I’ll email and ask about it! Is yours a red box with like 12 little “drawers” and something in each one? Seems nice, but really odd that they’d send that? ♡

          • I was about to start asking if someone sent me the Advent box as a gift. The box is huge and certainly not what I was expecting from GlossyBox! Glad I came up here and found out it is part of my subscription. I really like the Advent box, though confused why we received it. I didn’t receive the November box, but received the December box a few days later.

        • Ann, I just emailed Glossybox.. hopefully they can clarify this for us! Does what I described sound like what you received? Seems really odd! Did you just subscribe?

          • Yup, I just subscribed. While I was looking forward to the masks, I really love the packaging for the 12 miracles box. I contacted them as well. Hopefully we’ll figure out what happened. I wonder if they’ll just give us the box in place of the November box. But how did this happen when they’re two different companies.

          • Hey! Sorry at first I didn’t see a place to reply, so I added a new comment! Oops! So they initially asked for me to return the Advent box and said they’d give a store credit. But they weren’t clear about what the store credit would get or anything, and it’s really difficult for me to get out to do the return because I take care of my dad. He’s getting aggressive treatments for cancer. So I explained this and asked if I could keep the Advent box and forfeit the November box. They were kind enough to tell me to keep the Advent box and they said they’re sending the November box as well. I haven’t received it yet. But I did get shipment notification a few days ago. I’m not sure how they are handling this with other subscribers, but they were very understanding of my situation and though I did not expect to keep this and get the November box, that’s what they proposed once I explained that it would be a huge inconvenience for me to get out to return the Advent box. Hope this helps! I apologize for not seeing the reply option right away. At first I just clicked the link to the thread, then came back to my email and saw a direct reply button.   3. I got the 30% discount for Cyber Monday.. but I previously had a monthly subscription and had a promo code that took off 30% every month! My card had a fraudulent charge (unrelated to Glossybox) and I forgot to update my payment info. They cancelled it right away when my payment failed and I contacted them immediately (within a day or two after my card was declined) and explained. They wouldn’t allow me to give my updated payment info and continue my subscription. I swore I’d never get the subscription again because I felt that was unprofessional. But I have missed my beautiful Glossyboxes and I caved to to 30%. It’s much easier for me to pay monthly, so I really wish they would offer that again. I have looked for that promotion more times than I care to admit and even emailed them so many times they stopped responding! Hopefully it’ll be worth it! 12 months upfront is a big commitment for me!

  4. I am not happy to see a 30% discount when I just subscribed when they had a 25% discount on Black Friday.

    • I’m sorry! I always hate shopping Black Friday & Cyber Monday because you never know when the better deals will be! I shop almost exclusively online and although they say Cyber Monday is best for online shopping sales, I’ve seen it go both ways! Maybe email Glossybox and see if they will help? It never hurts to ask! ♡ It only seems right that those who were eager to get the deal should get at least the same deal that those who waited got! I hadn’t even considered it, but I subscribe to MSA & saw the post so I caved. I had a not so nice experience with them a while back and swore I’d never subscribe again.. but I sure missed my lovely pink boxes every month! I’d definitely take a minute and see if they will work with you!! Companies want their customers happy, so definitely worth an email! Good luck ladies!
