There is a similar product to spongelle sold by ulta that I buy called spongeables. They have foot ones and body ones. I love them and they are cheap. They have another brand called honey belle loofah with bodywash in them too.

Anna

I get the same at Walmart for like $4 I don’t remember the name tho

Blah. That’s a no go for me. I received a few in FFF and while they do smell yum, I found them to make me not feel clean at all. Ended up having to soap up after using the sponge (which makes the value for me go way downhill) I’m sure I could find someone who would love it for Christmas gift.

I’m excited to gift the spongelle, correct me if i am wrong but yrs. Ago I remember receiving a heart shaped spongelle from boxy (could have been a diff box) and I did like it but,it was so full of soap that they start out very stiff and wasting all that soap just getting it soft and pliable seems like such a waste to me. But it will make a great gift ☺

Not sure about the shadow palette, but loving the rest of it. Cancelling after December but this will be a nice little splurge. Hoping the regular box turns out to be a good one as well.

I think I’m doing the same thing. I don’t know if it will be Boxy or Allure or both that I cancel. I will be keeping Fabfitfun though. (I only have 3 subs now, which is half of what I started the year with.) I am planning on going on a low buy for 2019. Not that I really want to, but my make up collection is too big & I need to start using up some product. I don’t need over 20 eyeshadow palettes.

Irina

I’m planning to quit after December box too. It’s gonna be greate “leaving” box:)

Barbara

Funny thing, I just got a Spongelle’s Body Buffers from ALLURE as a gift. I liked it but wasn’t overly impressed with it as it seemed overly hard and difficult to actually wash myself. I’ll finish using it, but wouldn’t buy it myself.

That said, I am totally PSYCHED for the December Boxyluxe. Makeup, skincare, body care and hair care as well…NICELY DONE Boxy!

Lisa

I got a spongelle as my free gift for subscribing to Allure through Amazon. I was just happy to get a gift since some people said you don’t get free gift if you subscribe with Amazon.

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara

Lisa: I have a regular sub with Allure plus one I recently got through Amazon, but never received a gift. Go figure…

mamato2girls

I just bought a couple Spongelles for $8 at the FFF shop, so I’m not wowed on the value. They are, however, awesome!

Viola

Super box for me I’ll use it all, just really hoping for a nice lifestyle item…

Reply ButtonReply

Julie B.

I was already excited about this box with just the Violet Voss. If I were smart I would just keep Boxy and cancel Ipsy, Ipsy Plus, Allure, and Macy’s. That’s just too much money to spend on products I can’t use up. Sometimes I’m amazed there’s a whole population of people who don’t do sub boxes. It’s become such a part of my life!

Can someone explain how Boxyluxe charges? It doesn’t seem to be a quarterly box as it comes out once a month, but they charge once a quarter? So it’s an additional 28.99 charged once every three months from the first month you receive a box, and a regular $21 in between? It’s paying $50 a month that’s putting me off from subscribing so it’d be great if someone could clarify!

Reply ButtonReply

Robin

It is $21 a month, but on the boxyluxe month it is an extra $28.99….so

$21…$21…$21+$28.99…$21..$21…$21+$28.99
Hope this helps.

Corinne

It’s 50 every three months, 21 in between for the regular box.

I am really looking forward to receiving Boxyluxe. They have some nice items coming our way. Hopefully everything will go smoothly when it’s time to ship out the boxes.

Ashley

Oh my goodness! I’m really excited about this box! It will be my first boxyluxe. I absolutely love spongelles! Yay. The other spoilers are very nice as well. Great job boxycharm. I have been getting a little worried about boxycharm theselast few months because it has seemed (for me anyway) that the boxes have been going down hill lately. The product quality and brands haven’t been too great and also the overall price of all the products in the box hasn’t been very high either. But I think this December boxyluxe is making up for all the flop products recently.

Reply ButtonReply

Janet

I was also getting pretty worried. It’s sad when I look forward to Ipsy more than Boxycharm because the items they’re giving me are better. November Boxycharm was perfect, though! Especially compared to the last couple of months. But I would have been mad if I had received the lashes. Ipsy was so off for me this month. Weird.
I’m so excited for Boxyluxe! I’ll see where they go from there and hope for the best.

Ashley

Is this the last item in the box or will there be 1 more?

Reply ButtonReply

Victoria

There should be at least four more this is for the boxyluxe not the Boxycharm.regular boxy has usually 5 items sometimes an extra item

Reply ButtonReply

SquirrelyGirl

Boxyluxe is the regular box PLUS 4-5 additional items

Julie

This is a great item . I don’t personally use them but my sisters love when I add these to gifts for them

Reply ButtonReply

Rosette

A little overkill to say its a $20 value lmfao
No matter the aroma.

Reply ButtonReply

Nikkim

They last me a while too. I dont know how tgey compact so much soap in those things lol

Reply ButtonReply

JSP

That’s the actual price on the Spongelle website, not a random number made up by BoxyCharm…so not sure how it’s overkill…

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

A multi use Spongelle is $16, as listed on Spongelles site, so yes the price is inflated, don’t mislead people with wrong information.

It’s still a great addition to any box. And for those who use them regularly, you can score huge discounts on the Spongelle site. So don’t think FFF add-on is your only resource!

Kimberly Sifford

Between the Spongelle and the Elemis, I am so excited! Please anyone that is trading/selling (reasonable) keep my in mind! I love love these spoilers! I am filling a bit overwelmed with eyeshadow palettes (of the same variety) so I may end up trading for multiple of these!! Can’t wait to see more …Way to go BoxyCharm! Now, If only I could get my Nov. box..the suspense of which variation I got is killing me!

The irony is Spongelle contains a sugar alcohol that some people are allergic to. They always end up in my donation box because of it. I’ve heard rave reviews but as long as they contain sorbitol I won’t be using them and ALL Spongelle contain it according to their customer service. 🙁 good thing I love the rest of this box.

amarante

I like the idea of the Spongelle since I just finished remodeling my master bath so any kind of spa type of bath products hits my sweet spot.

I am confused about how to use it. Is it a one time product? Do you use it with your own body wash?

Reply ButtonReply

Rosette

All you do is wet it for like, a second, then just scrub away!

Reply ButtonReply

marinekid

They are infused with body wash and are supposed to last for at least 14 washes – although I’ve always found they last longer. You can use them with your own body wash once they’re “empty”. I like to take them on vacation.

Reply ButtonReply

LB

You just wet it and use. It’s infused with its own soap but exfoliates like a sponge. It is pretty hard until you soften it up with water though. Despite how many uses it says, I get weeks worth out of it!

Reply ButtonReply

Jill M

You can even use your own body wash with it to get a couple extra uses out of the sponge! I live them! Boxycharm is putting an awesome Luxe box out for December so far!

Tanya M

Me too!!! Introduced to these by FFF and I love love…

Jessica

I am a BoxyLuxe subscriber so these spoilers make me happy, but has there been a single spoiler for the regular box yet??? I just feel bad for those who are waitlisted or not able/choosing to upgrade.

Reply ButtonReply

SquirrelyGirl

There are two unconfirmed spoilers for regular that were released today. A Wander Beauty palette and Pretty Vulgar setting powder

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya

I cancelled the Boxyluxe upgrade. Waiting until the spoiler if to cancel the Boxycharm.

I have a lot of makeup though. I’ve been with Boxy for years and with Christmas coming up, my budget is tight… I’m the only one who wears makeup in my family, so I can’t gift anything that I buy through Boxy. It sucks but I do need to curb my spending. My aim is to save 20% of my income with is proving difficult as a single female homeowner, who also wants to look good!

Reply ButtonReply

Courtney

No. I suspect they will be releasing the entire box spoiler like they did for November soon. They seem to be pretty tunnel visioned on Luxe atm.

Lia

I love Spongelles and I always keep one in my bathroom. I stock up whenever they are on sale and after the washes – I ise them as sponges with my body wash. This box is amazing!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Tina

If I sign up today, do I go on a waiting list for BoxyLuxe or can I guarantee that I will get it in December? I was just wondering if anyone knows. Thanks!

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica Harrison

Yes you’ll go on a waitlist

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica Harrison

There’s no guarantee but the regular box is worth the price

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica Harrison

Been seeing the spongelle all over the place don’t really know what they are I just hope I get off the waitlist

Reply ButtonReply

Italianma7

I believe that if you are on the wait list then you will definitely be getting a boxyluxe. You’ll remain on the wait list until you are charged for the boxyluxe.

Reply ButtonReply

Debi

I hope ur right. Dec will b my 1st Luxe. Hope I get it

Marjo Passamonte

I believe that if you are on the wait list then you will get the box unless you opt out. Your status will state wait list until they charge you.

Reply ButtonReply

Natalya

I love Spongelles! Boxy is killing it, we are getting here full range: make-up, skin care, body care, and hair care (for those who chose hair straightner). Great job, Boxy! December cannot come soon enough now 🙂

Irina

Reply ButtonReply

Irene

Ok I have received several Spongellos from other subs and I do not like them they feel like cheap dollar store items but oh well the box is still worth it would love to see a nice body butter or Scarf or lip gloss set
