I’d buy that $79 one, but I’m still mad about the BoxyLuxe fiasco.

I think these boxes were geared towards gifting and non subscribers, because I have everything they are offering in those boxes already from being a subscriber so there’s no reason for me to buy one unless I want it for a gift and I’ve already done all my Christmas shopping so I guess I’m gonna pass on these.

I would have been tempted to get one of these except I bought the box with the Nightingale Palette and Ojito brushes. Then, I got a free boxy with Summer’s Ever purchase and it was also the box with the Nightingale Palette and brushes (at least the other variations were all different than what I got the first time.) So it isn’t so much a matter of value as over-saturation – why do products that were just sent out, meaning most subscribers or recent subscribers might not be as interested? This could be a good deal for those who missed out on getting recent boxes, though, especially with the $20 off.

Didn’t sell well? That would suck if you bought one a full price. I’ve been getting Boxy since March and I’ve not received all those products but I’ve seen a majority of them in the last 8 months. It wasn’t a draw for me.

Yeah, that’s what I was thinking.. they probably thought they’d have more people buy them. I bet if they would’ve had cheaper boxes with less value it would’ve been purchased more. Like $15 – $30 boxes maybe. Or if they did these on a different time other than Black Friday/cyber Monday – there was just much better/cheaper deals.

I had been mulling over getting one of these boxes, and this new discount was the deciding factor! I went ahead and ordered the big box. Thanks for the heads-up!
