YogaClub Guru Subscription October 2018 Review

This is my first month of YogaClub and I'm really excited. I find myself a lot more motivated to work out when I have comfortable, cute workout wear. Looks like I've received one of the outfits that is shown on their site right now! Let's take a look:

Threads 4 Thoughts Audley Tank in Dusty Plum, M - Retail Value $44 (found here for $24.97)

I like the swing cut and twisted straps of this comfy tank. The 60% organic cotton/40% recycled polyester is thin, cool, and soft. This is perfect for throwing on over a sports bra after a workout or for layering up when it's cooler. The color matches the lower part of the leggings for a cool, coordinated workout or lounge look.

Niyama Sol Magic Hour Barefoot Legging, M - Retail Value $88

I pretty much only wear high waisted bottoms since they tend to be more comfortable and practical. I like that the waistband can be worn high or folded over if you prefer low waist. The material is made from 84% RPET (recycled plastics) and 16% spandex and offers 4-way stretch for when you need to be bendy. They are quick-drying and moisture-wicking, so they'd be suitable for hot yoga. Here's my issue: The thinner weight of these, plus the fact that I probably need a larger size, makes them stretch a little sheer at the butt and hip level. The waistband also tends to be pulled down and I have to keep adjusting. I think these issues could be resolved with a larger size for this particular brand.

Onzie Chic Sports Bra in Black, M - Retail Value $49

I love the strappy back on this pullover sports bra and am pleasantly surprised that it lays so smoothly without cutting into my skin. It's fully lined and provides lots of firm support without extra bulk or padding. The outer fabric is a nylon/spandex mix which is smooth and has a little sheen while the lining is polyester. I typically wear a size M in sports bras but I could have used a large in this one to give my bust a little more space.

The Verdict: Overall, I'm very happy with the styling of my first YogaClub box. Everything is well made and certainly fits my workout/lounge needs. I had a couple of sizing concerns, so I reached out to CS about what I should do. Since they offer different brands, size charts vary and it's tough to choose without help. Good thing is, I can adjust my style preferences and sizes anytime on my profile. I'm hoping next month will include some long-sleeve or layering items since the weather is cooling off now.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Everyone's box is curated to fit their specific style, needs, and size, so what I got in my box this month might be different than what you get. But that also means you might get something that you love even more! Get started here.
