Wantable Fitness October 2018 Review

Wantable Fitness October info sheet

Wantable Fitness October item list

Inside the box, I received a booklet listing out the items I got, plus a note from my stylist for the month. (Note that your stylist does change from month to month, unlike with other services where you grow a relationship with one stylist.)

Wantable Fitness October stylist note

Here's the note I got from my stylist this month. In the style quiz I took when signing up, I noted the types of things I like, love, and dislike wearing, as well as the price range I'd be most comfortable spending on different pieces (like tops, bottoms, and tertiary styles like jackets, etc.).

Wantable Fitness October pullover 1

Wantable Fitness October pullover 2

Wantable Fitness October pullover close up

Good HYOUman Be Kind Dave Pullover, size L - Retail Value $68

I love this pull-over, and I knew I was keeping it as soon as I tried it on. Last month, I also received a Good hYOUman pullover in large, but it was in a different fabric that felt almost a little too stretchy and was made a little oversized. This one fits me perfectly, and I love the embroidered "be kind" message. Charcoal grey is one of my favorite colors to wear, too.

Wantable Fitness October star leggings 1

Wantable Fitness October star leggings 2

Strut-This Constellation Star Legging in Black/Silver, size XL - Retail Value 88

These leggings worked well for me! They had a nice, high waist, and the material was smooth and felt like butter. They were on the thinner side but I didn't have any problems with them being see-through when bending.

Wantable Fitness October sports bra front 2

Wantable Fitness October sports bra back

Wantable Fitness October sports bra inside print

Track & Bliss Daydream Sports Bra - Retail Value $78 (currently out of stock)

This sports bra is so pretty! I love the v neck and the lace-like detail along the neckline. I also liked the amount of coverage on the sides. I did feel like I was spilling out of the front some, especially when wearing a top over this sports bra, so I would probably wear it mostly for lower impact workouts like my spin classes, or even lounging. I'm happy with the quality, too.

Wantable Fitness October black tack front

Wantable Fitness October black tank back

GLYDER Elegant Tank in Black, size L - Retail Value $48

So, I felt a little silly when I looked up this product online to link to it and realized that I'm pretty sure I had it on backward for my photos... But you know what? I couldn't tell. The style still works with the lace-up detail in the back! It was still comfortable and flattering, and I'm going to just say it's reversible because I  think it actually works whichever way you want the lace-up! The fabric of this tank is a really nice quality, too - it felt cool and breathable, slightly slinky, but stretchy and soft, too. This is a winner for me.

Wantable Fitness October snakeskin leggings 1

Wantable Fitness October snake skin leggings 2

Strut-This Flynn High Rise 7/8 Legging in Grey Snake, size XL - Retail Value $75 (currently out of stock)

These leggings fit well and they had pockets! The light, snakeskin print is definitely out of my comfort zone, though. I tend to prefer darker colors on the bottom.

Wantable Fitness October blue tank

ONZIE Eagle Tank in Navy, OS - Retail Value $40 (found on sale here for $30)

Apparently, according to my item info sheet, I requested this tank in my Wantable Stream, but I think I need to include a note on my account to never send me OS (One Size) tops. They just don't work for me, and I can't see that they're OS in the stream when I request items. This tank had a neckline that was a little small going over my head, had very little coverage on the sides, and was basically crop-top length on me. The design isn't even that bad, but I would definitely need a size L version of this top for it to possibly fit properly.

Wantable Fitness October blue crop leggings

Wear it to Heart Mesh Panel Curved Capri in Sapphire Camo Disco, Size XL - Retail Value $75

Out of the leggings in this box, the design I liked the best was this blue, spacey-camo print. Unfortunately, the fit of these capris wasn't great on me. The waist hit me just a little low and uncomfortable, and they tended to roll down. These also feature a really cool mesh panel on the outer upper thigh, which I liked.

The Verdict:  This month's Wantable Fitness Edit was okay for me. I really liked about half of the things my stylist sent me this month. They've sent me better boxes than this so I hope future boxes are back up to par. Wantable doesn't have an automatic discount for buying these items through their service. If you keep 5+ items from your order, you do get 20% off, but if I only purchase, say, a pair of leggings, I'll still be paying full price for it. Some items are listed as less than they're found at retail, but for the most part, the items I'm sent are listed at full price.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual's preferences as well as what's available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping, which goes towards your purchase. The total retail value of the items inside was $384.00. If I kept everything, I would also receive the 20% off discount and my styling fee means I'd pay just $287.20 for all of the pieces they sent this month.

I got a Onzie tank in my Wantable Fitness this month, and it just seemed really cheap and kinda sheer. I also don’t get the one-size thing. Like a hat or headband, sure, but a top?

You look great! I want that reversible bra.

Onzie brand seriously confuses me because if you look at their OS range, it’s only like 3-4 sizes which it’s designed to fit. Why don’t they just call all their OS clothes “Small” for what they are.

One size clothes are usually way too big for me…I am kind of short and XS on top. So I probably wouldn’t be happy with that either.
