SUZANNE Selects August 2018 Review

Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Booklet Front

This package is the Firming Peptides Box. This card was included with details on the products she selected for this package. The reverse side lists the ingredients for each product, which I really appreciate having in an easy-to-read format. That way, if my skin does decide to revolt, I might be able to narrow down which ingredients or products are causing problems. It’s super handy!

Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Firming Facial Cleanser Front Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Firming Facial Cleanser Top

Firming Facial Cleanser With Tightening Peptides – Retail Value $39.99 (found on sale here for $29.99)

It’s official, this is my new favorite facial cleanser! When I see the word “tightening” on skin care products, I often think of drying, painful products, but none of the firming products in this month’s box had that effect at all. This left my face clean and soft and feeling moisturized. It’s non-irritating, too. My favorite thing about the cleanser is the way it smells! It smells like an orange creamsicle!

Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Firming Eye Serum Front Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Firming Eye Serum Top

Firming Eye Serum With Tightening Peptides – Retail Value $44.99 (found on sale here for $34.99)

This all-natural organic formula eye serum contains collagen and elastin and is designed to tighten and firm the delicate skin around the eyes. It contains plankton which I thought that was cool. I didn’t notice a big difference in the tightness of the skin around my eyes, though, to be honest. It also had a strange smell, a little like boullion, maybe? The pump also broke after my seven day trial. I hope other subscribers had better results with this product.

Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Firming 7Day Cream Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Firming 7Day Cream Open Top

Firming 7-Day Creme With Tightening Peptides – Retail Value $39.99 (found on sale here for $29.99)

I really liked this moisturizer. It is pretty much fragrance free, and it feels really cool and decadent on the skin. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling soft and quenched! It also contains collagen and elastin, and it works from both the inside (improving skin firmness) and the outside (appearing smoother). I noticed a subtle difference, which is honestly pretty impressive for a seven day trial!

Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Omega3 Pills Front Suzanne Selects August 2018 - Omega3 Pills Open Top

RestoreLife Omega 3 – Retail Value $29.99

I don’t eat fish, and this supplement is made of high quality stabilized fish oil, so I passed this along to my husband, who does take fish oil supplements regularly. It’s difficult to gauge whether a supplement is effective, or more effective than the generic versions he has been taking, but he did say that the pills are easy to swallow and do not have any weird aftertaste. Aftertaste is a big issue with fish oil supplements, I am told! So I think if you use fish oil or are open to using it, this would be a good one to try.

The Verdict: This was my second package from SUZANNE Selects and I am still impressed! Again, none of the products caused my skin to break out, which is impressive in and of itself. I love the cleanser, it smells amazing! I thought the creme was effective and felt great on my skin. Plus, the retail value of all the products is $154.96 (sale value $124.96), which surpasses the promised value of $125, so that’s fantastic!

To Wrap Up:

If I subscribe today, can I still receive this box? No, you will receive the October box.

Value Breakdown: This box cost $44.98 shipped. That means that you are paying approximately the following per item:

  • Cleanser – $11.61
  • Eye Serum – $13.06
  • Creme – $11.61
  • Supplement – $8.71

  1. Great review. I had to order, and it is on its way. An organic box with full size products, I’m in. I love Suzanne. Great price for this box.

  2. Hmmmnnn… interesting and I will put on the sub list as the prices are as good as reviews. I’ve had very few products that I can see a difference in seven days (looking at you Josh Rosebrook) so glad to hear this. Thank you for the review.

    • Thanks Tanya!

  3. The cleanser is 100 mL and the moisturizer is 50 mL, both those would last me a couple months. Same with the eye cream….. I think the “7-Day” in the name means you use it every day.

    • Lol, well that would make sense. And yes I have plenty left.

  4. Thanks for the review. Do you only get 7 days of product? Also, does the box ship super late? (This is August review posted in October and next available is October!) I’m intrigued by this line!

    • Yes, if it’s only a seven-day supply, the claim of “full-sized products” seems a bit weird.

With fish oil gelcaps, there’s usually not an aftertaste. No taste at all since the gelcaps are coated. BUT, an hour or two later you might burp fish taste, and that’s the part I dislike!

      • Yep, the fish burps are what I was referring to! 😜

    • The creme is full size, as you can see in the review it is 1.7 oz. The creme is not a “seven day trial”.. If you look on her website, it is called the firming 7 day creme because you can use it 7 days a week. I’m not sure why the reviewer is calling it a 7 day trial?

      • Anna would have to clarify to confirm, but I think she meant that she used the product for 7 days to write this review; not that the box only provided 7 days worth of product.

        • That’s how I interpreted it too. 🙂

          • Thanks y’all! Yes, I gave it a seven day trial, sorry for the confusion! And yes they are full size. I have plenty left after two weeks.
