Proper Post September 2018 Review

PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Gin Art Print Front

Gin Art Print

The first item we received is this artwork that is just outlined. I haven’t decided if I want to color it in or leave it blank. I honestly do not care for the artwork that is sent in this parcel as I have no use for it. Now, if I had a bar or something, it would be a cool addition if colored well, but otherwise, it is a pointless item (for me).

PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Gin & Tonic Pinwheel Postcard Front

PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Gin & Tonic Pinwheel Postcard Back

Gin & Tonic Pinwheel Postcard

This is kind of neat but also a bit confusing? Is it recipes or is it a pinwheel to make recipes? I looked up some of the drinks, specifically the Elderflower tonic and none called for flowers or citrus peels. I also looked up the Ginger Ale tonic and the recipe’s pretty general: gin + ginger ale. Who da known?! Either way, it’s a cool looking postcard that can be sent to any gin lover!

PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Gin and Bear It Pin Front

Gin and Bear It Pin

The next item in our gin-themed parcel is this Gin and Bear It Pin. It is identical to the middle piece in the pinwheel postcard! It is a pretty pin!

PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Gin, Gin, What a Wonderful Thing! Card Front

Gin, Gin, What a Wonderful Thing! Card

The last gin-themed item we received in this months parcel is this Gin card. I genuinely have no idea who I could send this to and for when. Maybe Christmas? But I would have to make sure to gift a good bottle of gin, and the card would give away the gift. This card just may be homed in the may-never-be-sent pile.

PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Bright Green Envelope with Blank Card Front

The card is paired with a bright green envelope and is blank on the inside.

PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Unstoppable Dinosaur Card Front PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Unstoppable Dinosaur Card Back

Unstoppable Dinosaur Card

The last item I received in my parcel is the card I chose for September. It is just so cute and I could not resist! The dinosaur reminds me of the t-rex on Meet the Robinsons; “I have a big head and little arms. I’m just not sure how well this plan was thought through.” Makes me giggle every time.

PROPER POST Box September 2018 - Brown European Style Envelope Front

The card is paired with a brown European style envelope and is blank on the inside for that perfect message!

Verdict: Last month, I indicated that this parcel was suitable for a teenage girl, but this month’s parcel is not suitable for a teenager with all the gin-themed items. I liked this month’s parcel, but there are just a few items I have no use for, like the artwork or the gin card. I do especially love the option to pick a card out and am super happy with the one I ended up choosing

I actually love this theme…love myself a nice gin and tonic but also have a friend who would adore these. I’be also been collecting pins lately and that one is too cute.

The shipping on this box is ridiculous. They could put it in a bubble mailer and send it for under $2.
