Olia Box is a jewelry styling box that sends you 2-3 pieces that complement your style each month. Subscribers fill out a questionnaire when they sign up to let your stylist know what tones of metals you wear, what necklace style you prefer, and any other comments you might want to tell them (like pierced ears or ring size).

When you sign up, you’ll get to answer these questions:

  • Which metal tone(s) do you wear? (Gold Only, Silver Only, Mix Gold & Silver, or Surprise Me)
  • Which necklace style(s) do you prefer? (Everything Dainty, Bold & Chunky, Long Pendants, or Surprise Me)

I chose Surprise Me for each of these. You can change your preferences anytime by sending customer service an email.

There is also a comment box that you can add any additional info you want them to know. I added that I have multiple piercings in each ear.

Olia Box September 2018 Review

This month’s jewelry includes a gold necklace, pair of earrings, and a bracelet with gold accent. Let see how they look!

olia box gold necklace olia box gold necklace worn

Gold Multi-strand Necklace – Estimated Value $20

The bugle beads and small gold disks add texture and plenty of sparkle to this multi-strand necklace. The shortest strand is 16 inches and the longest is 18 inches with a 3-inch extender. It feels dainty and feminine, yet substantial enough to pair with fall layers. I can see myself (or my mom, pictured here) reaching for this necklace to pair with almost any outfit because it’s so versatile.

Gold Hoop Earrings – Estimated Value $25

These earrings would coordinate well with any gold jewelry you already have in your collection. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear. The hoop is about 1.5 inches in diameter and the total drop is 2 inches. I love the organic look with the stone accent and hammered metal.

Marble Bead Bracelet – Estimated Value $13

The gold textured accent bead adds a little sparkle to this black and white marble bead bracelet. The durable, stretchy cording makes it easy to pop on and off. It looks great on its own or stacked with other similar bracelets.

The Verdict: I’m not sure of the brands, but compared to prices for similar pieces, I estimate a retail value of $58 for this box. While that’s not a lot higher than the cost, much of the value of this box comes from the curation of this style of jewelry. I also like that they back up their product with free shipping both ways in case you don’t like what you receive. If you want to try a jewelry subscription box that allows you to pick your style and metal tone, this is a solid option.

The Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Olia Box chooses jewelry for you based on your answers to the style choices. You might not get the same items I did, but you may end up with pieces that are even better for you. Sign up now to see what they pick for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost me $34.99 with free shipping which means that each of the pieces of jewelry in the box has an average value of about $11.66.

  1. Yes she was stunning in her stunning pieces. Wish u a speedy recovery.

  2. I can see who you get your beauty from!

  3. I had to post because I was thrilled when I saw your mom modeling the necklace. She’s stunning by the way!

Every time I see a review of a subscription box and the reviewers or those modeling the items are more diverse – I am filled with joy. Whether that diversity is regarding: size, race, age, sexuality, gender, ability, etc. and whether or not that diversity reflects me it is great to see many different kinds of people reflected.

    Thank you.

    • Thank you so much! She will be so happy when I tell her. She was staying with me after I had eye surgery. I asked her to model for me since my eyes were all puffy. I think I should get her to come help more often! 🙂
