  1. I just got my box.. I am missing two items, and my Wen is a 10/15 as well. Very frustrating!

  2. I’ve had the Wen body cream before and it was huge and I couldn’t use it all. It was in one of those huge Allure Thrills boxes a year or more ago.

I really liked it but it started out white and in about a month, with the top closed well, had turned a dark beige. I was worried about that and threw it out. It is expensive body cream!

    • Was it past 3 years of the manufacture date when u opened it?

  3. My box arrived yesterday and appears to have a manufacture date of 10/15 for the Wen 3:19. I’ve contacted customer service for guidance.

    • Did the CS respond well?
I was thinking of getting this box, but might re-consider now…
      Thanks for the info.

      • Well they did respond!

They state that WEN products have 2-year expiration date from the day that they are opened. Does that sound right to you?

        • I’ve heard about 6 months or 1 year expiration date from the day that they are opened, but that’s if it was done before the expiration date (usually 3 years after manufacture date).
Though a product would not spoiled right away after expiration date (which supposed to be around half of the full age of the product), but the quality will degrade.
Wen 3:19 is like 1 of the 3 hero items in this box, so that was really disappointing.
Is there any other items that look suspicious?

          • The other Wen product did not have a date. I’m dithering about what to do as frankly, I am not sure i am comfortable with the response. Hopefully mine is an anomaly and everyone else gets “fresher” products.

    • Where did you find the manufacture date? I can’t find it anywhere. There are numbers on the bottle, but it’s 1042B, so I can’t imagine that’s it. Thanks for your help.. If mine is that old too, I’ll be contacting them too..

      • I couldn’t find it on the spray but it’s on the bottom of the tub of the 3:19.

        • I don’t have a date on the bottom of mine, just the 1042 with a B after it, which I assume is the batch number..

  4. Mine has shipped via FedEx Smart Post. 13 days until it arrives. FedEx holds it a three hour drive away. I always get one tracking email with a reasonable delivery date and then a second one that has the date about four to seven days later. Their logistics are ridiculous! {hops off of soap box}

  5. It doesn’t say which of these, if any, are full sized…..I don’t want to pay for a bunch of tiny samples.

  6. These are normally awesome boxes but not feeling this one.

  7. Man, something must be going on with Wen since they’ve been in all kinds of boxes lately. Maybe they’re trying to rebrand after bad press, but I feel like I’ve seen them in 4 or 5 boxes in the last 6 months.

  8. GMA sent me an email for this yesterday and called it their October box so I’m thinking this will be every month now? Seems like we were only seeing them every couple or few months before, right?

  9. I bought one.. I love the Wen body treatment, so it’s worth it for me. It just better be the 8oz. that’s pictured.

  10. I guess I have calmed down with my sub box purchasing craze, because a few months ago I would of jumped all over this! I just don’t have the need for these items and I have to use everything I have up now so I don’t waste everything! I still get my Boxycharm and Luxe, Ipsy Plus, Beautyfix, and FFF. That’s is more than enough, and I would rather save the $40 and spend it on add ons for FFFs winter box. That way I get exactly what I want. I’m not saying it’s a bad box, I just don’t have the need for it I guess.

  11. Seems like a lot of repeats in these boxes. The toilet spray seems to be in all of them and that roll on bracelet has been in a few.

For what it’s worth, I’ve been using Wen for years (thanks to subscription boxes) with no issues. I don’t use it every day and I don’t follow their crazy directions. For my medium length hair it says to use 16-20 pumps, rinse and repeat with half as much, then use some more as a leave in! I use 4 pumps and that’s more than enough. I can see if you were using that much of anything it would have a detrimental effect.

    • That’s exactly what I’ve thought about the Wen products. Their usage instructions are insane, and in general, since a co-wash is a conditioner with “cleansing agents” in it, they shouldn’t be used exclusively either because all that will do is clog the shafts (since essentially conditioner is meant to be left on the hair) which is one causes of hair loss. I don’t doubt there are some people who use Wen exclusively with no issues, but generally only using a conditioner for your hair is not good. A clarifying wash is typically recommended to get rid of buildup. I actually like co-washes, but I only use them 2 or 3 times per month, depending on how my wash-days fall, and I always do a clarifying wash weekly.

  12. Any hints about product sizes? Thanks!

  13. Normally I am excited for discover the deal boxes, but this one is a bit underwhelming. Plus, while I liked the design of the Sockart socks I got in a previous box (especially the unicorn pair,) they got ratty looking very quickly and just didn’t hold up in the wash.

  14. I won’t get it cause I’m on a budget, but the Wen body cream is actually really good. The Wen replenishing mist I really dislike since it doesn’t do anything good for my curly hair. I love the poopouri also. Everything else is just meh.

  15. I wouldn’t mind trying the Wen perfume but nothing else

  16. I also wouldn’t use Wen products, not only that, nothing in this box excites me

  17. These boxes do not appeal to me! Anyone else? They are just odd.

  18. Nope. Won’t use Wen.

    • I agree no Wen for me either. I don’t know why all these types of boxes are including Wen products they are such a deal breaker for me.

      • I thought this said body lotion mask. Like body butter type of thing ?
