Their info card is pretty simple and just lists advantages and their website.

au Naturale Lip Gloss in Poppy, free sample size - Buy a full size for $18.00

Switch 2 Pure sends samples with each box and this time I got the cutest little lip gloss sample. While I'm not a lip gloss fan (I feel like I say that so much in beauty reviews), I'm impressed with the sparkling pigment this one offers, especially for a clean brand. The color is perfect for fall and would be great to wear to pick pumpkins!

au Naturale Pure Powder Bronzer in Golden Henna, 4.5 g - Retail Value $25.00

The first full-size product is also from au Naturale and curiously is a powder that comes in a pump! I've never seen powder delivered in such a way. I, unfortunately, don't use bronzer but am again impressed with the pigment. The Golden Henna shade I got is a gorgeous copper color that is sooooo glimmery. Just placing it on the back of my hand and moving it about catches the eye and gives it such an incredible glow.

ECO Modern Essentials Argan Hair Oil, 3.21 oz. – Retail Value $16.00

This is only my second-month receiving Switch 2 Pure and I've already gotten a repeat item in this hair oil (check out last month's review). I wouldn't mind so much if it was something I'd get more use of, but this is one that I passed along since I have such thin fine hair and don't like to put anything in it. Blerg!

My Magic Mud Activated Charcoal Alcohol Free Oral Rinse back of My Magic Mud Activated Charcoal Alcohol Free Oral Rinse

My Magic Mud Activated Charcoal Alcohol-Free Oral Rinse - Retail Value $8.95 (found on sale here for $7.99)

This is definitely my favorite product of the box since I think oral hygiene is of the utmost importance. I was surprised to see something like a mouthwash in a clean beauty box so this was a treat for me. The company seems to have a whole "rock n roll" theme which is a bit hokey, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't get a kick out of the flask-shaped bottle. Cinnamon mouthwash makes me want to use it more and this stuff is also brown which is weird and kind of a little gross but fun. This bottle should last at least a month, I'd think.

Kosmatology Free & Clear Unscented Body Wash back of Kosmatology Free & Clear Unscented Body Wash

Kosmatology Free & Clear Unscented Body Wash, 8 oz. - Retail Value $11.99

I really like getting useful everyday items in a clean beauty box, so I was excited to see this body wash since I'm getting low on my current bottle. Fragrance-free items are great for those who are sensitive to scents (scentsitive?) so it's good to know there are options out there. I happen to love things that smell super nice and do not have particularly sensitive skin, so while this isn't needed, I still appreciate it. This got a bit sudsy which was surprising since many natural products don't, but it didn't last as long as I'd like. It also left me with sort of a more squeaky clean feeling than a softly moisturized clean. I'm kind of up in the air about liking this one.

Erth Minerals Aster Blusher,  3 g. - Retail Value $18.00 (found here for $15.20)

Darn- another really sparkly makeup product. While I need to get myself on the clean makeup train, most of the makeup I'm receiving is full of too much sparkle for me. I prefer a more clean dewy minimal look. This blush is really nice though and I love the container it comes in that makes it easy to dispense.

Here are swatches of the lip gloss, bronzer, and blush.

Verdict: I really like the idea of Switch 2 Pure but this month was sort of a giant bust for me. I think they send products that the average person would like and there is a good value seeing as though I got five full-size clean beauty items worth $79.94 (+ a sample lip gloss) for $57.00, but I'm not sure if this one is for me. I'm interested to see what comes in future boxes.

Let’s try this again, since my comment did not post. Ricinus communis *is* a toxin (hello, ricin), so there goes their claim. A “toxin” is a natural product that is produced naturally by living organisms. A “toxicant” is a man-made chemical. This company *does* include toxins in its ingredients – just not toxicants.

I would email them, generally repeat products especially with insert for an item not included is indicative of a packing error.

Ricinus communis *is* a toxin (hello, ricin), so there goes their claim. They’ll need to learn scientific English first. A “toxin” is a natural product that is produced naturally by living organisms. By the way, your body produces acetone every day. A “toxicant” is a man-made chemical. This company *does* include toxins in its ingredients – just not toxicants.
