I paid $55 USD a few months ago for one year of “free” express shipping on all Selfridges order, which has already paid for itself… so for me, this box would be a flat $80.

But I can’t figure out how they came up with a 245 GBP value on this? Anyone have thoughts on the estimated value?

Speaking about their express shipping – holy crap it is FAST. I have ordered beauty items and received them, like, 24 hours later. It’s incredible.

I would have thought that they based the value on retail value of the samples vs. breakdown value, but after looking at the samples included, I can’t recall seeing most of them for sale in stores (like in the impulse sections leading up to the registers), so I’m curious too how they established the value!

$30 shipping? Is someone actually personally flying with my package?

The $30 shipping makes this easy to pass. That is crazy 😜

I don’t think this is an advent calendar. It only has 19 items.

I was thinking the same thing, because even Selfridges calls it a Beauty Lovers Box. I didn’t see any mention of it being an advent calendar on their site. Too bad they don’t have a picture of the inside of the box to see if they have numbered doors. Plus, I could have sworn that Selfridges calendars contained luxe products…. so hopefully, we’ll be seeing another post about their advent calendar soon!

This is the first Advent calendar to peak my interest this year.

Thank goodness that’s an easy pass – so many of these products have been in ipsy/Allure/Sephora/Target beauty boxes in the past. My wallet is safe.

I was literally thinking the same thing. So many drug store items. Hard pass especially for that price +shipping.

Exactly. When I see anything with Eyeko I run the other way. I must have decluttered 4 or 5 of them so far.
