I still have not received my Sept box? Should I be worried?

I *still* haven’t received my box. Tracking said that they created a shipping label on Sept. 19, but only handed it over to the USPS on Sept. 26. Disgraceful. Can’t even go out professionally.

Mine arrived only on Saturday. So it should be coming soon.

I got mine yesterday. I was disappointed in this box, I thought maybe they would step it up with it being their last box. I am looking forward to using the highlighter, that’s it. Bye, bye Cult Crushes!

Stephanie

Same here, mine was delivered today. I’m looking foward to trying the highlighter and nyx lippie. I can say, I won’t miss Cult Crushes, bye, bye!

I sent them an email telling them exactly what I think of their last box, and telling them that they should be ashamed of themselves!
I encourage the rest of you to do the same!

So glad I cancelled right before they announced they were ending. NO regret after seeing this box.

Lisa

I am glad I canceled too seeing as it is the 20th and pretty sure nobody has received a box seeing as there are no unboxing videos or reviews out there.. From what I have seen nobody has even received shipping info.

Patty

I wish I would have canceled too. Not that it makes a difference since they have not charged my card this month. Maybe they are just pulling the disappering act.

Mel

Only four items? I’m not unhappy with this box, if only because I like nude colors, and I like the highlighters. I’ll use the Grande liner. But, for the final box, this is pretty blah.

Wow, thought they were going to “Crush It”, like they promised they’d do if we stuck with them. I have yet to see them crush anything, except my hopes for this box. Four months of mediocre boxes, and they end with this? Jokes on me, well played Ricky’s, well played.

Nope….not for me….I actually just cancelled my YouTube sub to the collaborator they used this month too. I got tired of all the complaining and ranting in her videos. It seemed like every unboxing video was nothing but complaints. I am all for voicing your opinion and appreciate when they actually give their honest opinion, but something should impress or make you happy lol…anyways, I know that was a little off topic. Sorry…Bye Bye Rickys!

Very glad I left this paused. I kinda hoped they would reel me in for the last box, but nope! I really hope they can come back and be better than they’ve been these last 4 or 5 months. My last one was July. Like another comment said – I love the palettes and most of the other items from Feb, March and April. Then price went up and quality went down.

BOOOOO !!!!

Last thought: At least they let us know they were quitting. Remember Beauty Box 5?

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

I actually mentioned on a few posts I have been getting a BB5 vibe from them for awhile so I was not the least bit surprised they were canceling box.

Svetlana7e

I do. They owe me four more boxes. They were so lame. First claimed hurricane excuse then disappeared all together.

Dea

Out with a whimper, alas. I stuck by them, but the joke ended up on me. A cool, edgy sub that fizzled into ho-hum. What a shame. Still, I’m happy about the palette.

Beccaox

Yikes! Hope I can cancel….

only four items for their final box + I’m still upset about not canceling with the price increase and quality after…

just kept hoping and hoping…

sadly, I’m happy to see this one go ✌🏼

So many people on Instagram are in denial it is pretty funny. Even though Cult Crushes said this is the box people are thinking there is 5th item coming. Then again they don’t realize this is last box either.

Worst box ever, nothing I can use. Lip products not my shade, I do not use highlighters, as my oily skin shines itself, and I did not manage to keep the lip mask without it falling off (had different ones before, but the same style). How anyone manages to use that mask?

Reply ButtonReply

Samantha Peacock

cut it in half. you get 2 uses and it sticks better.

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

I have heard,of people using sheets masks over their lip masks.

Reply ButtonReply

Evie

Thanks. Still cannot imagine how, you have to bite the middle or what? Maybe it is only my lip shape, but when I put the lip mask on, it does not cover the parts that gets flaky fastest.

JSo

Hopefully I cancelled in time. I was going to stick around because of the curation. But I don’t want any of these items (I was going to say need but at this point I NEED very little bc of sub box overload). I thought maybe they would go out with a bang but the writing has been on the wall for several months… Bye Felicia

Jessica

I’m glad I paused before this box came out. You’d think they’d want to go out with a bang, but then again, I thought the same thing when they raised their prices, but instead ended up with a few sheet masks and a week’s worth of hair vitamins. I’m not sure if Ricky’s just couldn’t keep up at the same rate they were once going at, or they just thought we wouldn’t notice. They should have known however, that unless we lived in New York and shop at their store, that their subscribers found out about them online, on sites like these, where we looked at items from their past boxes – and for some crazy reason – figured they would keep sending the same types of items. So of course we would get upset when they traded in full eyeshadow palettes for single pans, and in lieu of unique beauty items, started sending more cleansing items than any one person could go through in a year. This box really does have so much potential, (there’s so much to work with on their site! or was anyway??) so I really do hope they can get their act together. But despite just their recent lack of quality and originality that they once had in spades, there’s still so much they need to iron out. Missing items, shipping delays, false spoilers, bad customer service, etc. I really hope they can figure it out.

KimberlyB

Yeah, the false spoiler that looked like KVD Brow Pomade really bothered me. Even though I can just go to the KVD website and buy some, still.

KimberlyB

I am not excited. However, I will definitely use the lip liner, as I’m still looking for one that can stop post-menopausal lip feathering (yeah, I know, good luck with that!). I love highlighters and maybe those will look better in person. NYX, I’ve got my fingers crossed for a shade I’ll like more. Lip masks always get used.

Will I re-up when/if they come back? Not till I’ve seen what they’re changing. While I love that they do cult-type brands, it’s hard to beat boxes like ipsy, Boxy, Allure, etc. But thank you, Ricky’s, for the three amazingly bright eyeshadow palettes, I LOVE them.

Lisa

There are only 4 items. I think they are trying to make it look like 5 by showing the lip liner and the box.I hope I canceled in time they started billing today what a bummer!!

LA

They really went out with a bomb, not a bang… 😀

Agreed.
