Dia Active Plus Size Fitness Subscription Box Review + Coupon

This post may contain referral/affiliate links. If you buy something, MSA may earn a commission. Read the full disclosure.

Dia Active is a new activewear styling service from Dia & Co. that caters to women plus sizes 14 and up. Upon enrolling with Dia Active, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, style, price range, and what activities and/or sports I partake in. For $20 a Dia Active stylist selects five curated pieces sent directly to me! I am able to try them on at the convenience of my own home and only pay for pieces I decide to keep! The $20 styling fee is applied to whatever I do keep, but if I keep the entire box 25% is taken off as well!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia Active may be entirely different than mine!

Dia & Co. Active Plus Size Fitness Review

Ultra-cute envelope for Dia Active—to be expected!

Also enclosed in this precious envelope is a note from my stylist, Monique! I appreciate the sentiment regarding Dia Active cheering me on in my activities! She also advised that the pieces are made from moisture pulling wicking fabric! I am excited to try these out at the gym!

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off ( if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. The savings would be $81 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That would be like getting the Lola Getts capri tights for free!

Daffodil Tee by Shape Activewear, Size 2x – Retail Value $54

This charcoal t-shirt is made of an incredibly soft, yet stretchy cotton/spandex blend material. The shirt has mesh details on the back and shoulders that provide breathability. This top certainly will be amazing for the gym due to the light, breathable fabric, but let’s face it: I will be wearing this around to take care of errands as well. It has been so hot in the 80s and 90s lately that this will be perfect to wear in and out of the gym; it is just too comfortable not to!

Mead Underwire Sports Bra in Charcoal Grey/Black by Livi, Size 44D — Retail Value  $69.50

I review a lot of sports bras, guys. This one just might be my all-time favorite! The fit is immensely impressive. This sports bra has not only bra clasps in the back, but the straps themselves are cushioned and fully adjustable as well for the perfect fit and comfort. The cups are well formed and I fit in them securely and with ease. This bra will keep you in place: it is the Fort Knox of sports bras! I can’t praise this Livi bra enough. The $69.50 is reasonable for such a high quality piece. This will be your favorite sports bra too, I assure you of that!

Black and White Wall Capri Tights by Lola Getts, Size 2x — Retail Value $77

These workout-leggings somehow manage to feel relaxed, yet the fabric has the right amount of compression and stretch. I just realized also that they have a secret pocket in the front, so that you can put small things in, maybe money or a card – neat, right? I also like the black and white design because it makes these leggings versatile and able to be styled with just about anything!

Ginger Mesh Detail Tank by Rainbow Curves in Azure Blue, Size 2x — Retail Value $26.95

This tank’s blue heather cotton material is soft, but thin enough and airy for any activity in this late summer humidity. The back has a mesh cut out detail that provides even more breathability. The length is great and provides the perfect amount of coverage; you won’t have to worry about being exposed and having to tug this tank down while doing yoga or hitting the treadmill.

Kivu Zip Front Sports Bra by Rainbow Curves in Navy — Retail Value $34.95

Now, even though I fell in love with my new Livi sports bra, it doesn’t mean I don’t have room in my heart for this one as well! This Rainbow Curves sports bra doesn’t provide the extreme support that the Livi sports bra does, but it still is fantastic! The bra doesn’t have the super formed cup that the Livi one does, but it offers compression and a zipper front. You will be able to wear this without being afraid of popping out mid-workout. It is also incredibly comfortable. In addition, look at that amazing mesh back with the fantastic criss-cross strap detail. I absolutely love it!

Verdict: My first Dia Active box was awesome! I am impressed by the quality of the pieces sent to me by my stylist, Monique G, especially the Livi Sports bra. I know I sound redundant, but I am blown away by how well this bra is constructed! All the products are well made, so don’t be shocked by the sticker price: you are investing in high quality work out gear that will last you a long time. You deserve it! There is some misconception that plus size women don’t have a need for workout gear, let alone excellent, quality pieces! Larger, bodacious babes hit the gym, they go to Zumba, they pump iron, they do cross fit, they dance, they move just like smaller babes’ bodies do. We deserve great pieces to wear while we treat our bodies and minds well as we work out! Thank you so much, Dia Active for recognizing the need for this box!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia Active curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $262.40. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $181.80 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is a 31% off discount! That is a heck of a deal for two workout ensembles!

  1. Now that you’ve had time to wear it while actually exercising, how does the Livi sports bra hold up? Sometimes bras are great in the “fitting room” but lousy in practice. What is especially appealing is the clasp back which means I wouldn’t be trying to wrestle a wet octopus over my head at the end of a workout!

  2. I love Lola Getts! They did a great job styling this box for you. I had a lackluster experience with them on my 2 regular boxes, but they really nailed this one!

    • SquirrelyGirl, sorry you had some issues with the Dia & Co boxes. I can’t suggest using a pinterest enough for these boxes. I hope you enjoy the Dia Active box as much as I did!

    • Hey Jeanine, I don’t think I did. I did get my hair done so that may be what makes me look different!

  5. They did a great job picking quality and unique pieces. I would absolutely spend $180 for those clothes. You look fabulous as always.

    • Definitely, KS! It is a great value for quality workout gear! I am impressed for sure!

    • Thank you, ks! I thought it was a great value for the quality pieces too!

  6. Wow! They totally nailed it with every piece. That never happens! As I was scrolling I thought, “that is the best-fitting sports bra I’ve ever seen.” Everything looks great on you and seems well-thought out and nicely constructed. Super-impressed!

    • AmyM, agreed! I was SUPER impressed. I am actually wearing the leggings and grey top as we speak! Haha
