I received the balm in my Ipsy bag and it is great. Even though you have to use your finger it’s still a good balm. Also i know that the Sunday Riley products are probably just deluxe samples sizes and thats great, lets me try before spending the money on a full size. I think some people may have just been hoping for full size since we have gotten them before. Jan 2018 had a full size bottle of CEO in the box and that was a wonderful surprise.

I honestly can’t wait to give my teenage daughter some of these items at Christmas!

I don’t do fake eyelashes, so this is not worth the money to me. and I hope my lipstick is not red…

Got this in my Ipsy bag and love it!! It is a pot style balm but so lovely I looked past that. Imo it’s similar to Clinique’s balm in healing capability but slightly thinner in consistency. Very slight floral scent. Feels fantastic on the lips. I adore this stuff.

Been wanting to try this. Glad to see it in allure where I’m guaranteed to get it. Wish I was getting the matching bottle though lol

So excited for this box now! Looks great so far!

Is the good genes the same size as the one in birchbox’s this month? I’m liking the stuff that Allure is teasing over the next few months but i’m starting to have second thoughts.

Allure at $15 and a mix of full size and sample size stuff is literally in between Boxycharm’s $21, full size box; and Ipsy/Play/Birchbox’s $10, sample size box.

Like it’s half baked. For $5 more you get full sized, for $5 less you may not get the exact same stuff but something comparable. But Allure’s boxes are good as one time purchases if it has something in it you like, but not as a subscription.

I got a $10 four box offer when I was about to quit. I took it.

Mel

No. The one in Birchbox is 1ml this is 5ml

Stacy Kovacs

No Birchbox only gives 5ml one it’s just listed like that in the photo because that’s that full size If you would like to buy it

Mimi

Oh okay. Liz just reviewed an ipsy bag and it had an trial size hourglass mascara in it. I wonder if it’ll be the one Allure will send

I got that balm in a recent Ipsy bg and it’s so nice. I don’t love finger application balms, but that one is worth it! I use it every morning when I get out the shower as a part of my skincare prep routine.

I may snag this one!

This balm was in an Ipsy bag, I never got it and paid $10 for it on eBay. I like it, but don’t need a second one…

As for Sunday Riley – I don’t care for formaldehyde releasers in skincare.

Dea

Oh, and your body makes acetone every day. Yup, acetone. And you’re still here.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennyjenny

I don’t see anything about formaldehyde in Sunday Riley products. Where are you finding your information?

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

Read personalcaretruth on this subject, or even chemistcorner. The CIR expert panel also has stated that it’s safe.

Actual formaldehyde is naturally occurring in foods and in our bodies,

Emilia

DMDM hydantoin.

Yay! Having several bkr bottles, I was JUST about to order this. Unbelievable how thankful I am that you posted the spoiler!

I just ordered the water balm and it’s fantastic! Has a light rose scent and feels excellent on the lips. I am very glad to have a purse version while the bottle version chills at work. Great job, Allure!

Reply ButtonReply

Dea

Do you have to stick your finger into it to apply the balm? I don’t like those.

Reply ButtonReply

Adina

Yes you do. It’s not in a tube or anything. You could always use a lipstick brush, if you wished.

Dani

I am seriously hoping for a deluxe size on the cleanser. I know this is an expensive brand, but that lactic acid sample is so dinky and that sample won’t last for more than two uses. I really hope to get at least a weeks worth of washes from the cleanser to see if I really like it or not. That might be wishful thinking though. They did spoil us with the full size Sunday Riley vitamin c treatment!

Reply ButtonReply

Jill m

The sample is small, but it goes a long way for me at least.

Reply ButtonReply

Dorothy

My 15 ml bottle of good genes lasted a month with generous use both morning and night. Now I know not to use so much and I bet I can make 5ml last three weeks. I am sure you’ll get more than a couple of uses out of it and you’ll be able to see whether or not it does anything for you in that amount of time.

Reply ButtonReply

Dorothy

But I can’t argue about wishing it was full size. I would pull all the shenanigans I could to buy five.

Lisa

❤ but I wish it was the full size so I could buy the bottle and put it in the lid – that’s cool as sh*t!.

fancypants lip balm?! YES! gimme, gimme, gimme! 😀

Oh neat! This is why I like this box. This is a new product that I haven’t seen a million times in boxes. I haven’t heard of this, but I’m excited to try it.

Allure has been KILLIN’ it for months now. Their curation of products is excellent. Keep up the great work, Allure. 🙂

Jen

Really interested in October and November but not September so I’ll have to wait to sign up.

Reply ButtonReply

nonya

Do you know when we have to sign up in order to ensure this? Thanks.

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

October 1, I believe. They’ll push September’s box until then. It’s not like other subs where there’s a random cutoff. Usually order the month of the box you want.

Nicole

Don’t you need the special cap to use this with your bkr bottle? Will the smaller size fit in the cap or is this just a sample to see if you’d buy the full size?

Reply ButtonReply

Anna

No, Liz reviewed it in the July Ipsy bag.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

Ok thanks I will check it out! Do not sub to Ipsy so I missed that one.

Emily

Yay!

Reply ButtonReply

Regina

Looking forward to trying the lip balm!

Anna

I’ve been wanting to try this.
