Our Review
I'm really excited about this month's box, because I have found the ideal Say It With A Sock for kids customer! My son has made friends with a little girl down the street who always has on cute, fun socks– every day, even in the blasting heat of summer. This is right up her alley, and I'm so excited to share these with her!
Say It With A Sock is a fairly simple subscription: You'll receive 1 or more pairs of fun socks each month in a simple shipping envelope. Sometimes they include seasonal cards with jokes or puns, usually advertising their referral program:

Well, this is the first time I've ever received a duplicate in this subscription... I just got these same socks last month in the girls' box! Oops.
They're cute and I do love this unique pattern, but of course I expected to get something new.
I've had great interactions with their customer service before, though, so I feel pretty confident Say It With A Sock will replace these with a new pair if I ask.
As usual, Bokkie socks are unique, bright, and I love the stretchy fabric. It's a bit thinner than some other patterned socks (in a good way) and they hold up well over time.
Sock It To Me Dancing Dolphins Junior Crew Sock - Retail Value $9
Our next pair is from another big "fun sock" brand, Sock It To Me. I love the sort of retro Lisa Frank vibes!
Seriously: I'd have loved these as a pre-teen. Do kids these days still love neon colors and aquatic creatures? I feel like every other kid in the early 90s wanted to be a marine biologist.
The fabric isn't as soft or stretchy, but these seem to hold up really well over time as well.
Verdict: I'm definitely a little disappointed about our duplicate pair this month, but I've been reviewing Say It With A Sock since December 2016 (!) and haven't had this issue before, so I think it's a one-off snafu. I still love the idea of sock subscriptions as fun, low-key, and affordable gift ideas and this one is no exception.
Value-wise, this subscription is comparable to other sock subscriptions. For youth sizes, the $13.99/month price of the subscription is pretty good when you're looking at socks that normally retail for anywhere from $7 - $10 depending on the brands included.
