First, you'll see an info card that lists all of this month's Cult Crushes. This month's theme is "Heat Wave".

Jean Pierre Eau De Rose Sheet Mask back of Jean Pierre Eau De Rose Sheet Mask

Jean Pierre Eau De Rose Sheet Mask - Estimated Retail Value $3.00 (Buy 4 for $12.00)

With as many face masks that I try in my line of work, I'm kind of not sick of them which says a lot. This brand is new to me and I'm pleased to see that it's a rose water variety since rose water is super hip right now. This one immediately smells pleasant and felt really moisturizing in a slightly oily kind of way. Not a heavy oil, but a very light one remained once I took the mask off and I allowed it to soak in which left my skin feeling ultra supple. This is one of the better masks I've tried!

Girltactik Matte Lip Paint in Posh open Girltactik Matte Lip Paint in Posh bottom of Girltactik Matte Lip Paint in Posh swatch for Girltactik Matte Lip Paint in Posh

Girltactik Matte Lip Paint in Posh - Retail Value $23.00

I am loving this reddish brown nude! This is right up my alley, especially for my favorite upcoming Fall season! This glided on super smoothly and smells faintly liked candy. The formula did start to feel a bit dry about a half hour into wearing, but not as bad as some matte lipsticks. I'd suggest putting a gloss or balm over top to keep things moist if you love this color like I do.

OMG Skincare Blackhead Pulling Gel back of OMG Skincare Blackhead Pulling Gel

Double Dare OMG! Blackhead Pulling Gel - Retail Value $15.00

Judging by the name, I sort of thought this would be a gel that would dry and I would peel off, but it's basically just an exfoliator for your nose. The directions had me massage it onto my nose for 2-3 minutes which I have to admit felt pretty nice. I don't know if it was just the friction, but it felt warming as well. The strawberry seeds were very gentle and this has a nice strawberry scent! There's also jojoba seed oil and papaya along with vitamin C to reduce oiliness, tighten pores, and brighten. I'll need more than one use to see results but my nose definitely feels squeaky clean.

Ella and Mila Nail Polish in Wild About You open Ella and Mila Nail Polish in Wild About You swatch of Ella and Mila Nail Polish in Wild About You

Ella + Mila Nail Polish in Wild About You - Retail Value $10.50

Is it red? Is it pink? It's both! This is a fun summery color and has pretty excellent coverage. It's 7-free, vegan, and made in the USA as well as being cruelty-free. I, unfortunately, had black gel polish on, so I had to put this overtop and you can see that a little in the swatch photo, but I'm pretty confident that color is close to true after three coats. I've received Ella + Mila in the past and found their formula to be great.

RickyCare Non-Crease Clips RickyCare Non-Crease Clips out of package back of RickyCare Non-Crease Clips

RickyCare Non-Crease Clips - Retail Value $7.99

Ohhh- I actually love these! The clips are sort of a rose gold and look like little palm leaves. I always need to hold my hair back while I'm doing my skin routine or putting on makeup but normally use a headband. That works at night, but I'm glad to now have these for the morning so that my freshly washed hair won't get creased by holding it back. There are four clips in the pack and they work perfectly.

Verdict: I rather liked this Cult Crushes box! For $14.00 I received 5 full-size products that have a retail value of $59.49. The clips and mask are probably my faves but I'll get use out of the rest as well. The colors they chose were complimentary and I'm glad they included some non-makeup items since I love skincare so much!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! You have until the 25th to sign up and get this one!

Value Breakdown: At $14.00 for this box, here's what you're paying for each item:

  • Sheet Mask: $0.71
  • Lipstick: $5.41
  • Pulling Gel: $3.53
  • Nail Polish: $2.47
  • Hair Clips: $1.88

Just about to cancel this am when I get the email about the LA Splash highlighter palette I. September box. Why I want another highlighter palette is beyond me! I want it! I’m going on sub hiatus and blocking myself from this site. Lol! I have to have money for Holiday LE subs and Limited edition palettes…

I just want everyone to be aware it’s a sketchy company. I payed for my first box(the one right before the price increase) with PayPal. The next month my payments failed (apparently they won’t let PayPal pay for a subscription and you need a regular credit card) I didn’t like it so I didn’t update my credit card. Nothing happened the next month, but somehow this month they CHHARGED MY ACTUAL CREDIT CARD. Not through pay pal. No idea how they were able
To do this. When i contacted them about it they denied the charges and were sketchy. I was refunded a few days later. But wow, not ok.

I cancelled this box today. Not impressed, and as one person said, this is nothing compared to Allure for almost the same price. They have really been hitting it out of the park lately!

I’m sooo glad I canceled this box. What a hot mess…

This box was wack. Straight up wack but since they’ve come through for me previous months (for the most part) I’m not even going to trip (this time).

Mine arrived today in the mail after payment said “pending” for a week. Very meh box. The pulling gel is getting used on my son…the polish is a pretty colour, but needs more than one coat. The mask will be fine – but one use – and the clips are pretty and will get used, but not something that would stay in my hair if I were to wear outside home. I’m so done with matte lipsticks. So a practical box that I will use, but nothing to compare to Allure for the same price.

I’m on the fence about this box, and this subscription. I’ll probably use most of the stuff (definitely not the nose stuff as acne is far in my past!) but there’s nothing really exciting. It’s been that way for the last few months — ever since the price increase.

Meh. This is still a $11 box to me even if the products are a little more interested.

So glad I cancelled this subscription months ago. It was great for a few months then they announced the price increase and the 2 boxes before the increase were just not for me. After the 2 nipple stickers and last chi chi palette I cancelled

I like this except for the pulling gel. I’m neurotic enough about my skin care routine without using a separate product for my nose.

Hmm they put a hold on my funds for this box. It sat there for all of last week and then poof it was gone Friday. Don’t know if I am getting this box or not. Hope I am.

This happens to me every month. Nothing to worry about – your box will get there as usual. I just gave up on trying to figure out WHY they keep doing that LOL.

Gracie

I had the same thing happen. So weird

This is a good box! I rather hope there are variations in the lip color, because I got that same one in Boxycharm a few months back. Otherwise, I like it!
