New Ipsy Subscription: Ipsy Glambag Plus Coming Soon!

I keep postponing my Ipsy because I was happy at first then they started to really let me down. I want to sub to the new Ipsy glam bag but …. I’m wondering if they just sent the influencers good products and then when you sign up for it it will be meh. Thus sent a lot of good things to the influencers, I’m just afraid we wouldn’t get it as good.

Hi. Liz. Do you know if everyone who signs up will get these same products or is this variation just for the influencers?

I wish they would post more info closer to dates to sign up. It’s flustrating to try and keep track of all the new sign ups and releases and to make sure youre awake and glued to the interwebs to be able to MAYBE get to sign up.

I’m so nervous about boxy new upgrade. I want to sign up for it and wish they had enough for everyone whom wants to sign up and not just fighting people for spits and then have to wait for months to MAYBE be able to get drafted in the second round.
I was one that didn’t get the link for limited edition box last year and missed out on restock…so I hope ipsy has it where everyone that wants too can sign up

There are people posting in Facebook beauty forums stating they already got an email and have signed up. Can you confirm if this is true please

If the price is fair I would cancel my Birchbox subscription. In the past I was subscribed to Ipsy and I really miss it.

Someone posted pics of a card they got in their big glam bag preview box. Whatever. I’m tired lol so sorry for that mangled description. Anyways, the card from ipsy said the big bag will be monthly. Link to video:

Kinda suspicious about this ~mysterious~ marketing campaign Ipsy is doing by sending influencers bags before the sub is publicly available, with the complete lack of official statements from the company. It makes it seem like this sub option will be exclusive/will not be available to all subscribers when they launch (like how the ipsy Shopper feature was rolled out over months & months, or how the Improve Glam Bag feature was slowly, slooooowly made available to users).

I also watched a video of an unboxing where the influencer read the info card, which offered her a complimentary SIX MONTH subscription to this new box. I’m a little salty about that, TBH. How about doing something nice for people who have subscribed to your service for YEARS, Ipsy?

UPDATE!!!! So this box is suppose to launch for October and the price is $25 per month. You will also get a makeup bag every 3 months (kind of like seasonally). I’m on the fence because I could save $4 doing boxycharm. However, I will get the first box because it is nice. I hope they have it where you can pause it, like they have with the $10 bag.

Hmmmm, now this I can get on board with! I cancelled Ipsy many moons ago because of their incredibly tiny sample sizes but this looks enticing.

Going to give BoxyLux a run for it’s money! I might have to sign up for this. I really wish they would list a monthly price. Why so secrete?

I am interested in finding out more before jumping. The only thing in the promo picture I like is the Sunday Riley, everything else I would not use. Right now I prefer the monthly glam bag with the 5 sample size products. I get to try products without having to commit to using a full size product if I end up not liking it. Right now if I get a product I don’t like I can re-gift or dispose without it feeling like a total waste of money. I would love to have been given the option of choosing 1 product in my monthly glam bag like they offered to subscribers before.

Saw on a YouTube reveal that ipsy plus will be $25/month and get a deluxe makeup bag every 3 months. Very excited, absolutely love ipsy so it will be good to see where they go with this new plus subscription.

They could bump Boxycharm off the market with this if they do it right. I have only been in the sub world for a few months, but the Boxy products haven’t been great. I want the Boxylux because of a few of the spoilers, but honestly if it turns into a mess where no one can get it, I think I’ll cancel and wait for this. I really hope Ipsy is listening and has enough bags to go around and don’t make us fight to the death like Boxy is doing. To me, it makes the community feel competitive, and I don’t like that at all. This should be a supportive community where we can help each other not secretly hope people don’t like the products so we can snag their spot in line.

Looks like a really great box…..hope I can afford it.

will they still have the regular $10 ipsy bag or will they discontinue it as well?
Also there was also conversation about some of the products being deluxe or travel sizes and not full sizes. Will it be guaranteed full sizes and not less, because the brazilian bum bum is the $20 2.5 size and Not the 8.0oz $45 size.

I think tjis sibscription would be great it its been $15 -$21… if its higher than that price i wouldnt want it… i like that ipsy changes up their products every month and you get to tey something different in the makeup, skin care and hair care samples and now deluxe to full sizes.

Since I just canceled boxycharm this might be a good replacement, but pls let this Morphe palette be a 1 off. So many similar shades…

Do you know if this will this be a monthly option or once a quarter like Boxyluxe? This looks amazing! I love having Ipsy – I don’t mind the deluxe (and sometimes full size) items for $10! Boxycharm looks cool, but it honestly looks like a lot of passing makeup on to others because not everything is a hit. If this is an upgrade option to receive each quarter in addition to the glam bags that would be so cool!

I just notice this is the moisturizer and the not the CEO Serum. I do like how they just dropped the news though. Bam! I like this marketing strategy for Ipsy Glam Plus.

Yes oh Yessssssss!!! Definitely want this! Ipsy was my very first sub. I was up to 16, but Beyond Beautiful and Peachy Box went under. So I have room to add another now lol!!

Ipsy includes full size items in the glam bag sometimes so ipsy plus is probably going to be amazing, hoping for full zize high end products and looks good so far! Was disappointed and not interested in the first version of boxyluxe, counting on ipsy lol

After feeling terribly disappointed with my Boxycharm box for the last several months I’ve seriously been contemplating canceling my subscription with them but decided to stay to have the opportunity to upgrade to the BoxyLuxe subscription. After seeing the spoilers that have been released for BoxyLuxe I’m going to cancel…I’m so tired of receiving palettes that I will NEVER use and I wish that they would of included more skincare! I love the look of pictured Ipsy Glambag Plus…it’s the perfect mix of makeup and skincare and honestly it’s EXACTLY what I’ve been looking for. I will absolutely be subscribing to this upgrade as soon as it’s available! I’ve been subscribing to Ipsy for over 2 years and I love the bags/items that I receive…I’ve found lots of amazing products that I otherwise wouldn’t have tried. Sign me up!!

Bye bye boxy! Loving this ipsy plus pic, sign me up! I, too, am hoping there’s not too many variations. If there’s a variation, subbed should get the chance to choose. Example: choose your 5th item: a) eye, b) lip c) face. The boxylux spoilers have been terrible. I cancelled my bc after Aug spoilers but was too late & got the Aug box!
