Feeling Fab July 2018 Review

An included info card highlights the retail value of this month’s box, describes the theme for the July box: “Transforming Routines into Rituals” and offers ways to connect with Feeling Fab online. The items in this month’s box are intended to magically transform your daily mundane routines into wellness rituals.

The back of the card lists the names and values of all the items included in the box. Opps! An item intended for the July Box is unavailable. An Item Replacement Alert is attached to the info card describing the swap.

Each month, Feeling Fab features a Q&A with a yoga master. This month, @_Monette discusses her yoga practice and the positive impact it has had on her life.

Five More Minutes Eye Mask by Ettitude

Five More Minutes Eye Mask by Ettitude – Retail Value $20, Listed Value $18

Upgrade your sleep routine to a ritual with this 100% Organic Bamboo Lyocell mask. Eye masks help improve sleep quality and can help prevent insomnia for a better night’s sleep. This mask is super soft, large enough to completely black out light and while the band isn’t uncomfortable, it does feel a little tight on my head. This mask would also be great for relaxation, savasana or meditation too.

Motivate Essential Oil Serum by The Hippie Homesteader

Motivate Essential Oil Serum by The Hippie Homesteader, 10ml. – Retail Value $10

Feeling tired all the time? Add essential oils to your routine. The Motivate blend of essential oils will help you feel energized, focused and alert. Just rub the oil on your wrist or temples and deeply inhale to fight fatigue and increase mental alertness. Coconut and avocado oils are blended with lime, rosemary, pine needle and peppermint in this serum and it smells fantastic. But, like all essential oils, the scent doesn’t last long so plan to reapply often and as needed.

Pure Rose Infused Oil Cleanser and Cotton Washcloth by Olio Beauty

Pure Rose Infused Oil Cleanser and Cotton Washcloth by Olio Beauty – Estimated Value $11 (buy a 4 oz. bottle and washcloth for $22)

Bring a little magic to your daily face washing routine with this rose infused oil cleanser. I’m admittingly skeptical of oil cleansing as my goal has always been to eliminate oil! This little kit comes with rose infused cleansing oil, a washcloth and detailed instructions for cleansing and make-up removal. I tried the 5-step cleansing routine and it did leave my face soft and glowing! The towel was a bit scratchy but maybe the exfoliating effect is partly responsible for the glow?

Summer Blend Tea by The Still Co, 1.4 oz. – Listed Value $10

Skip your normal boring tea and try the Keep It Cool Tea, the perfect summer blend. It smells amazing and was the first thing I wanted to try in this month’s box! This loose-leaf caffeine-free tea contains hibiscus, rose hips, orange peel, peppermint and a pinch of stevia. I made a single cup of hot tea to try but I can’t wait to try it iced. It’s delicious, not to bitter and just the right amount of sweet! I predict that this tea will become a part of my summer ritual.

Eucalyptus-Peppermint Cooling Spray by Meraki Botanical

Eucalyptus-Peppermint Cooling Spray by Meraki Botanical, 1 oz. – Estimated Value $6.25, Listed Value $12 (buy a 4 oz. bottle for $25)

This cooling spray contains peppermint and eucalyptus essentials oils which are great for cooling and calming the skin. The uses for this spray are endless. Use after a tough workout at the gym, an intense vinyasa class, a long day in the hot summer sun or even hot flashes. The cooling spray has a light mist that feels great on my skin. I’ll be tossing this in my gym bag!

Feeling Fab Zen Card

Each Feeling Fab box features a Zen Card created and designed by the FAB Tribe Community. This month’s card features a heart center meditation which consists of deep inhalations aimed to relax your mind and strengthen your heart chakra. Don’t forget to hold on to your Zen Cards! Collect multiple cards and cash them in for free products and FAB boxes.

The Verdict: I love all things self-care and the July Feeling Fab box did not disappoint! I liked that thoughtful theme and the idea of adding a little spice to things we do every day as part of our normal routine. Of all the items, I loved the summer tea the most, was pleasantly surprised with the rose oil cleanser and will make the most use out of the cooling spray. I loved the variety of items in this box, but they were all pretty small. I’d love to see more full-sized items in the future. This month’s estimated value is $57.25. Considering the number of items and quality of the products included, it’s definitely worth the $33.98 price ($28.99 + $4.99 shipping).

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today?

Can I get this box if I sign up today?: Yes! This box hasn’t sold out yet is currently available for $31.99 + shipping in the Feeling Fab shop. If you sign up for a subscription, you’ll receive the September box. From Feeling Fab:

If you sign up today, you will be immediately billed for your first Feeling Fab Box. I also subscribe to TheSelfCareBox, FabFitFun, CauseBox and Merkaela. Being a wife and full-time working mom, subscription boxes are one of the few things that are just for me! They are fun, convenient, reasonably priced and full of surprises.
