Burgundy Fox Underwear Subscription July 2018 Review
When you first sign up for this subscription, they have you go through a "style profile" to tell them what you like and dislike so that they can send you undies that you'll love. Not everyone will receive the same thing since it's based on your wants.
I received a handwritten note from one of the founders, Leslie Wong, thanking me for patience. The reason is that I received my normal quarterly box back in July, but they accidentally sent the wrong size, and some underwear I knew I wouldn't get a lot of wear out of. One of the unique advantages of this subscription is that they allow you to exchange items you don't like within seven days. I promptly used their website to begin the process and wrote a detailed note of what I was looking for (basically, the underwear they sent me in my first box that I'm obsessed with) and the correct size I needed. I printed out the return label they emailed me and sent it out. Long story short, after some confusion on their end and about 4-5 back emails back and forth with customer service, I received an email from Leslie apologizing for the delay and letting me know that along with having a high volume of customer service requests, they were moving their fulfillment center as well. So, while it took over a month for me to receive my exchange, I don't expect this to be the norm, and they sent me a free gift as well to make up for it. They're still a new company, so I understand they are working out bugs, but I certainly hope they are back on track moving forward. 🙂

Yay! My favorite underwear on the planet! Here are all five pairs, that come in a little box, for the company Blush. I'm so glad that Burgundy Fox has introduced me to this brand because they are just wonderful.
Blush Lingerie "the micro" Lace Trim Hipster Underwear in Floral - Retail Value $15.00
I always wear dark or nude underwear and am sort of a boring person so I usually just roll with solids as well. The first pair they've sent though is a black floral pattern that I am rather into! The background and lace are matching black while pale pink flowers with green leaves and white butterflies make up the femme pattern. I think these are perfect to stay within my comfort zone yet mix things up a bit. And the FEEL of these, OH, the FEEEEEEEL.

As I was saying, the feel of these microfiber undies is to die for. They are insanely soft and fit my body perfectly so that there aren't bulky lines to see through my pants. I already own three pairs of these in black but they are my favorite ones in the drawer and the first pairs I wear after I do laundry. At the back, there is some ruching that really accents any rump that one may have to work with, which in my case is a good bit.

Ooh- I am also loving this olive green color that they call "basil". I bought a pair of black pants recently that aren't jeans (gasp) and love them so much that I'm going to order them in this same green color as well. Look at me, adding colors to my wardrobe! Here, the lace also matches the body of the undies. You can get a better look at the ruching in the back. Isn't it cute?

The last pair is another color I already own but love. This pale nude color is really close to my skin tone so I wear these when I'm rocking a cream dress I own with no lining so that you can't see my underwear through it. That's the trick! Happy to add another pair of these to the drawer!
Linda Hartman Silk Sleep Mask in Light Blue - Retail Value $19.00
This isn't normally included with the underwear subscription, but because my exchange took way longer than it should have, Leslie was kind enough to smooth things over with a bonus item. I am accruing a small sleep mask collection which is something I never thought I'd say but am all about. This mask interestingly enough sort of matches the style of undies I got this time with its super soft silk fabric and lace strap to keep it on my head as I snooze. I love baby blue, so this is a great color for me as well. I also like that the inside is black so if I'm too lazy to remove my eye makeup (it happens sometimes!) I won't ruin the silk.
Verdict: Burgundy Fox was a little frustrating for me this time around because of the uncommon and long exchange time, but their communication was good the whole time and it made a big difference that the CEO herself reached out to me in the end (plus- the sleep mask was a nice apology). These things happen and I do REALLY love the underwear they sent and am happy they listened to my feedback. As I said in my first review, I could get these same 5 pairs every quarter in different colors and be really happy with this sub. Overall, these undies are my most beloved and are definitely the ones I reach for if I think someone else might be seeing them as well. 😉
