Cute box, but I agree with those people that say it is overpriced. I was thinking this looked like a good $40 box. Not worth the $58 price tag. They used to have such great value in their limited edition boxes.

When I add up the value of the various products for me (personally, since there are items I won’t use) it doesn’t come close to the cost of the box. And if you look at all of their LE boxes, comparing value and cost, this one is really high priced, with no real stand out products that I can see. An easy pass here.

Between the last 4 LE boxes and a few kits I’ve picked up from Birchbox this year. All these products are repeat products * Just different brands. Even the journal is sorta a rehash Hygge had a book journal. It wasn’t a blank journal but still same theme. I even received a S’well bottle from an LE from last year% So this box definitely isn’t for me since there isn’t anything too different from all the other things I bought in recently.

I was surprised that they have the hygge box available still. I’m thinking of buying a second one.

I’m definitely not feeling this box… It’s not for me. Majority of the products are repeats. I have most of these types of products *different brands in my stash because of the last 4 LE boxes and 2 kits. SO I can happily pass!

The only thing that interests me is the Jack Black lip therapy. Lip balm . – I’m a sucker for lip balms!! Because, this lip balm also falls into the repeat category for me. French Kit had lip balm and lip comfort oil and I picked up an Arrow lip balm in another kit back in Jan.

Examples of repeat products
SPF Balm—- Summer Box: Coola SPF spray
Face Mask: Vogue: sheet mask and Hygge: Reusable Mud mask.
Body polish scrub: Hygge: Herbavore body polish
Natural deodorant: Travel ready treasures and the Hit The Gym kit last week which also has a natural deodorant.
Face tonic: Vogue and the Summer box had different types of face tonics. French Kit: Herbavore Rose mist and I happened to pick up Herbavore’s face toner as a free gift when I bought the summer LE.
Keihl’s face cream: Travel Ready Treasures and French Kit had face creams
Eye patches: Travel ready treasures and Hygge had eye patches

As for the journal wouldn’t use it
The Swell bottle: While not a repeat from this year. I have one of the bottles I picked up from an Birchbox LE from last year. And I almost never use it.

Shampoo but no conditioner?

That was my question too…why no conditioner? There are a few nice items but too many I wouldn’t use.

Conditioner may be something that’s more specific. Personally, I will just buy shampoo because I have a bunch of leave-in conditioners or hair oils I’d prefer to use. 🙂

I guess I would consider “natural deodorant” more specific than conditioner. But then again everything in the box could be considered a preference…
