Your Bijoux Box July 2018 “Sweet Sea Glass” Review

Here’s a product list for the month. The theme is “Sweet Sea Glass” and is inspired by the lovely shades of frosty sea glass you find at the beach! Two necklaces, a pair of earrings, and a set of rings are included.

Let’s start with my favorite item of the box! I love necklaces like this. The mix of shiny chain, aqua glass beads, and mixed-metal discs give this necklace lots of great texture while remaining dainty. I really love this slider bead closure that Your Bijoux Box uses because it allows for easy adjustment of the length and a cute look at the back of your neck when you wear your hair up. It could easily be layered with other silver or gold necklaces for a tiered effect too!

In YBB’s first Deepa earring collab, they include this pair of hand-beaded tassel earrings. The pearl beads are a creamy color that gives these a bright but soft look that coordinates well with many different styles of necklaces. They come with wide backs and are comfortable and surprisingly light. And, with a value of $80, these alone cover twice the cost of the box.

Playa del Carmen Bolo Necklace

This fresh twist on the bolo style necklace is perfect for summer. The silver chain holds three frosty stones in shades of sea glass and two long tassels. I paired it with this chambray button up for a subtle addition of glitz but it would look great worn with a simple white tee or dress to make it stand out. The closure is a lobster claw clasp with an extender so you can adjust the length slightly.

I have been impressed with the bonus items every month so far! These are the perfect compliment to any of the three featured pieces this month. They’re small and simple but really have an impact when worn, especially when stacked together.

The Verdict: I probably sound like a broken record with my verdicts for Your Bijoux Box, but I love the jewelry again this month! These colors are by far my favorite for my wardrobe and the details are just always on point. All of the pieces fit the “Sweet Sea Glass” theme and suit this time of year perfectly. The quality of all of the items is great, especially if you consider that you are basically paying just $13 per piece (not including the bonus rings). The packaging is gift-ready too!

  1. Me too, I mean the earrings! Nice size, not too big…I can’t wear huge earrings, they just don’t look good on me and it’s also I find big earrings uncomfortable. I visited baublebar online first time in a while recently and so many of the earrings are enormous.

  2. I got my bijoux box for July today…my first box and I everything in it even the welcome gift which was a nice pair of earrings. All of July box is something I would choose for myself. So I am on for August too and hope it fits my style as well as July box did.

  4. The review says to sign up now for the August box, but I really want this box. So I emailed customer service and received a lightning-fast response from Shana, confirming that if you sign up now you can still get this July box. ☺

    • I tarried too long….I was going to sign up for this box but life happened.

      How do I contact them and see if I can still get this box? I don’t have facebook and don’t plan to… and all I see on their home page is contact via facebook.

      If facebook and other kind of social media one has to commit to are the only way’s to communicate them it is on me for waiting too long cause if I am gonna sub I want to start with this box it’s so me.

    • I received the same response this morning too 🙂 Only took about 6 minutes to get a response to my email, great customer service! Signed up for my first box immediately, and am so excited to get this box!!!

      • What is their email addy ?

        All that is on their website is social media form of contact (which I don’t do)…I saw no email address what so ever (unless I am missing it but I look several times and do not see an email addy for CS).

  5. I liked my box more than I thought I would, but one of my rings looks really irregular. The stone is smaller and pretty crooked, but I haven’t heard back from customer service yet.

    • Yay! Got an email saying they’d send a replacement, I’ve been pleased with their customer service.

      • Did you have to go through facebook or another social media to get customer service?

        I want this box and would sign up for it if I got this box but one HAS to sign up and commit to social media and for myself I can’t do that for personal reasons.

      • You can just email them, and they reply back very quickly. As of this morning, they stated that the July box is still available if you sign up 🙂

  6. That pretty little gold and blue necklace made this box for me I wore it yesterday and love it. I am also happy with the bolo and the rings. I love the subtle colors for summer. The earrings are pretty, but not my style, but who knows I might try them anyway. Overall, I’ve been really really happy with my Bijoux boxes for several months. This summer ‘s boxes have been much better than last year’s.
